They underestimated the ork waagh grotsmasha and the fleet was blocked by a fleet of spavehulks and so the planetfall troops were nearly anhilated. They engaged the enemy with their heavy support squads and the units in terminator armor tried to block the ork waves out of the way. Nonetheless they would have been all destroyed if not for the pre eagle warriors who aided them and rescued them at the last second. Â But because of that the aposltes relied on heavy weapon and termies. From that the later warwarestyle of the wardens was developed. I can see one of them crashing through the Apostle fleet and distracting them from helping the ground forces.  So, this is a battle to emphasize the differences between the Apostles and the Wardens. He isn't the blafemaster then, only a marine, but he is accompanied by his axe snaga. This time a test mini for the Comheadair - psypower defense troop.  Actually he is still armless ( playing around with starting a BlackLegion army and so they would be in nice company ;) )  What do you think? For the weapon I think of giving them simple power staffs. Well they are some kind of stola( hope that is the right word. Flowing Cloth is a big part of my army theme and the comheadair feature these mini cloaks and no half skirt. When they suck up the warp energy I think the flowing cloth will help to show the effect.(hopefully) The veterans feature one half cloak on the right. As they are Veterans they had some time to gather some damage ;)  By the way: Here the alternate Veteran Sarge. I think he fits better than the old. Rangaman Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 The second Vet Sergeant fits the theme of the squad better I think. The dual glaive Vet, to me, looks misplaced because of his legs.
