anybody know how to achieve a white brown color for a shoulder pad?

Define White Brown? Thats pretty ambiguous.

If you can make out the guy with the white soulder pad with green trim

Hmmm It looks like a pretty normal Off-White to me.

You could try mixing some Brown or Sepia wash in small quantities into white?

Hey,

I based a pad with ceramite white and added a brownish tinge to it. Looks pretty good.

Thanks man

A slight little update.

Im trying to make an eikos lamiad model until he actually gets a model. I used the SM captain model with a different head. I want to cut that combi boltgun arm off sinse he lost his arm in the battle of calth, but we will see how it goes. He is still very much a WIP. Oh and the hair....dont ask

I also added a plume to the lieutenant.

Definitely too strong. If you want a simple yet effective mud onto armour, simply buy some Agrax Earthshade wash, and apply it around the feet of the models :-)

Also, shake well before use and apply by dabbing on the appropriate area.

Hey thanks for that, will have to buy some

Well, the Mud can make basing quick and fast, and it can look ok if some of the granules are highlighted in a lighter colour.

Alternatively you can use sand and pva to create the earth effect on bases.

Aa for creating muddy armour, a wash is the easiest way imo, just don't go overboard :-)

Ah ok. I should point out the picture does make it look twice as thick as it is Irl, but still to think for my taste.

Also, I made my first attempt using greenstuff. I made lamiad a half porcelain face and then green stuffed his arm to make a leather glove
