Lots more to come

I want to see the rest of the squad, nice shade of purple.

Anyone choomed up any cataphracti from the b@c set yet?

What I've done so far is here http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316619-binarys-loyalist-emperors-children/?do=findComment&comment=4253264

Still need to order more Choom from forgeworld- one of the BaC contemptors, a tactical support squad and my moritat all require it!

Choom? Choom!

So, decided to poke my head in here with my first proper volkite test...not quite sure on the colour though. Think it may be a bit too orange/light than red. Was hoping you choom veterans could point any changes I need to make. But still, the first of many...

So I was recently able to claim another kill with my volkites! This time got an Iron Havoc squad in one volley off an outflank with a Terror Squad

As they mounted the ridge, the reason the Dark King had ordered his Terror Squad to flank the enemy became clear; a specialized IVth Legion Heavy Support Squad was perched in the ruined tower directly in front of them....with their backs turned.

"Blades?", voxed Karos.

No, approaching any further might alert the Havocs on their scanners.

"Ready guns."

Their incinerating volley caught the Iron Warriors completely unprepared, the combined fire killing two lascannon bearing Legionaires and the heavy bolter wielding seargent; his artificer plate melting under the volkites' fury. The last two were felled by their comrades erupting in flashes of heat and ash just as strong as the initial ray beams.

"Back to the dirt you go," smirked Sathad, as he watched one of their victims plummet off the battlements of the tower

Could any frater lend a brother a hand? I had a casual brain wave to enhance the choom in mine and raktras doubles list on my half, and thought about taking some solar allies in the form of a tank commander, russ incinerator and veltaris storm section. Anyone let me know what they do? Please? I don't have book 4 yet. Sorry

Can you be a little more specific? Are you asking about their abilities or rules or weapons stats, or what?

I was hoping my subtle attempt at some generous fellow PM'ing me as I need the rules to get a grasp to help me decide as to whether or not to replace night raptors and a chaplain with more choom and tank choom. Because themes and making sure they kill stuff too :D sorry i promise I'll be less vague from now on. Maybe

I would take care with a pure choom storm section - you'll be needing to get a lot closer to the enemy than most Guard commanders are usually comfortable with. I suggest keeping this in mind while trying to synergise your overall army.

With the front field terror squads rocking the business there I was thinking they'd serve a more mid to rear field role depending on what's required per game/mission. To help deal with anything tricksy, being able to glance flanking rhinos to death etc
