Vogon
Would this get me membership? My XX Legion Lernaean Terminator squad. I used the BaC Cataphractii terminators and did a simple weapons swap but I'm happy with the results. Also they're part of my Loyalty or Treachery pledge Cheers Vogon Just don't recite any poetry! You sure? I have a 12 book epic about a small lump of putty somewhere :) Anyway I've also got a support squad which I need to take a new photo of. I originally did them blue but changed them to red after I did the terminators 'cause it looks better. ROBOcaster
SO Urza and chance I could get a link to a guide on how to do the toaster effect? Sure, its pretty simple: 1) Basecoat the fins with White. 2) Basecoat the fins with Vallejo Model Color Flourescent Orange. 3) Liberally drybrush the fins with Vallejo Game Color Hot Orange. 4) Drybrush the edges of the fins with White. Thats it! Hot damn! Thanks. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308805-martian-death-ray-club/page/46/#findComment-4345065 Share on other sites
Atia
CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM Telerac Pattern Volkite CulverinsThe loss of Forge Worlds during The Horus Heresy sped the decline of Volkite weapons in the Imperium. The technology, difficult to manufacture even by the most able of the Mechnicum’s forges, was rendered scarce in the aftermath of The Age of Darkness. Telerac pattern weapons are far more ancient and ill-omened even those designated 'Proteus', the name implying dark associations with the technological horrors of the deep reaches of the Age of Strife. The shortage of reliable supplies of Volkite weaponry saw many Telerac pattern weapons restored to service in the name of the Emperor, and carefully mainteded in the Space Marine armouries. The heaviest of the portable Legiones Astartes ‘Volkite’ weapons, the Volkite Culverin is a thermal ray weapon of ancient provenance. Its beam has a devastating effect on organic matter, explosively burning flesh into ash and jetting fire. Slips
Then Id need 10 more marine bodies and a reason to use two HS slots for 80 volkite shots. While I wouldnt say no, when would I ever actually use them? Thats the main problem. Skalpynock
Telerac culverins on some Morragul IH or Lyssatra IW. Maximal unstabilitech. Sorely tempted to do that with my B@C box, but I believe trying to bend the feeds will kill both my patience and fingers. Vogon
Something I've been thinking of and I'd like a bit of advice on my idea, perhaps someone else has already tried it. I like the shape of the Sicaran tanks but there is no Volkite version. I was wondering of the possibility of using the demi-culverin from the Leman Russ Incinerator and putting it on a Venator chassis in place of the Neutron Laser. What are your guys thoughts? Cheers Vogon. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308805-martian-death-ray-club/page/46/#findComment-4346176 Share on other sites

Modelling-wise, it shouldn't be too hard to pull off, if expensive...
