Regarding the Cataclysm of Prospero, what details do we have about the aftermath? Do we have any gathering on the surface comparable to that alluded to in canon? I like the idea of doing a piece with one or more Legions making planetfall to find out what happened, with the Emperor arriving at the end.

The Drowned show up for sure and first; Daer'dd and or Hectarion would show up for sure as well. I think it should be Hec and Sons to investigate so Hec can tell Daer'dd what he finds so we can set up Daer'dd pleading with the Emperor to save the remaining Vlka.

If we go with half the Primarchs (as Mortarion tells us were present at one of the canon Lost Legion incidents, hence how many I included in Executio), this is what I'd suggest:

- Icarion

- Alexandros

- Morro

- Pionus

- Hec

- Andezo

- Gwal

- Yucahu

- Daer'dd

Going partly by who'd have the most reason to be there, and who'd provide some good material to work with in the story.

I've written in the distant past that the cataclysm of Prospero caused the death of the previous paternova, ensuring I could write about ours without being contradicted by bl

Of course I haven't written anything in... nearly a year :P

Speaking about relations between Russ and Pionus, Redd, I'd like to let Daer'dd be at the Emperors side when discovering Andezo.

He could be the one who taught Andezo the ways of the Imperium (besides the Emperor of course), their ways of war, etc.

Daer'dd would be the only "nice & loyal" Primarch to which Andezo might feel a kinship.

I vaguely remember something about Kozja being close to Magnus, and starting all the Geneseed research after the death of the Thousand Sons, terrified at the idea that such fate could strike him or his remaining brothers.

Not that he [has] to be there, as Pionus already fills the role.

maybe the emperor asked every primarch to accompagny him to prospero to mourn their lost brother s and the remind them wjat could happen and to let them swear an blood oath to never talk about it. Could make for a great gathering scene. "The funeral of the lost"

Progress report on book 3:

PART 1: The draft is probably about 3/4 done. Just need to cover the stalemate itself.

PART 3: With death of Mortax, the draft is probably about 1/2 done.

PART 7: I know that blunt is working on it, not sure how far he is

Long ago, when I was making a timeline for the Wardens as a Lost Legion, my friends and I were under the impression that Horus had ruled for about 50 years of the Great Crusade before succumbing to corruption.

Now, I'm reading Retibution in my off moments, and lo & behold, Horus fights for the Great Crusade for a mere four years. Man, did things go wrong so fast.
