I think you've done a fantastic job as it is ... have you any other examples of the extra highlight?  Maybe apply the extra one just on the very edges or where the light would reflect off?

Either way, it looks immense!

Man, that is one beast of a beastly machine! Superb!

As for advice, I think it could use a little more highlighting, but I mean minimal. Just a slighty crisper highlight to the tops edges/ corners. Either that or a quick wash to dull those highlights, then build up the corners. Just my 2 cents

And I'm always an advocate for weathering. Especially on a tank with so much surface area.

Cheers Brother, RAF actually but I'll let it go...

Hot damn dat Land Raider. :tongue.:

Thanks mate, still not quite finished yet but it is a pretty sweet kit and I think I've have managed a fair job of it even though painting tanks is quite a bit out of my comfort zone.

Thanks for the input the extra highlight are on my rhinos a bit back, they are pretty minimal, I guess I should try it worst case is a bit of re painting:happy.:

Really well done I started hazard stripes on my pod and gave up due to time constraints maybe I'll have to revisit them after ETL they look dam good

Thanks the hazard stripes weren't as soul sucking as painting the rest of that damn thing :biggrin.:  and the do add something I think, I'll look forwards to seeing yours all health and safetyed up.

Thanks for the comments (and saying nice things that's always nice) I'm pretty much in favor of at least trying it with another highlight now thanks for helping with that decision. The weathering will be pretty low key as I said I prefer the fresh off the strike cruiser look, again see my Rhinos that's the sort of level I'm intending.

Greeting once more Brothers of the Rock. My goodness almost exactly a year of dormancy!

Well since last time I've had quite a bit going on in real life and then got massively distracted when the fracture of Beil Tan came out, I dusted down my 30ish year old aspect warriors, took my Dark eldar out of stasis and finally pulled my finger out and finished off the space elf death clowns I bought in a fit of enthusiasm and then left to prop up my shelf of shame. So I now have a pretty sizeable Ynnari force which has been a lot of fun to play and a surprise to my opponents for its total lack of wraith constructs!

But it time I got back in black and supported the imperium in its hour of need not to mention clamp down on all those newly emboldened fallen that are suddenly strutting around!

So to prove I'm not a total slacker here is Sargent Vader and his devastators.

And my Rhino Prime that I finally got round to finishing.
