Just wondering if anyone's had any luck removing the arms off the Chaplain model and giving him new ones while retaining the cloak? Awkward, I know, but it looks cool and I can't fit his new loadout any other way.

Yeah, I did an Alpha Legion Saboteur carrying a melta bomb & combi-melta by chopping off arms. A bit tricky, but doable. Will post a pic when I get home. smile.png

Here we go! Got a bit of polishing to do yet, but pretty happy with it. Getting a Mark IV jump pack and a seeker bolter too, giving me a Vigilator or a Saboteur, with or without a JP!

Apologies for the abysmal quality of the photo and its size, but I thought I'd show what I've been trying to with (or is that to?) the Kurtha Sedd model. He's going to be a Night Lords Primus Medicae escorting a unit of Breachers, hence the shield. I'm still planning on how to give him a more 'medicae' look, so I'll probably tinker with the backpack as the next port of call unless I can figure out another way.

And a 5x1mm magnet fits snugly - don't even have to drill for the plastic parts:

Same for the waist and hip joints - just use a sharp knife!

All a little samey, but I wanted it to look like a team which had fought together as one for decades if not centuries. Also I am still getting to grips with chopping models and the like so tried to keep slicing and dicing to a minimum.

I like what you did to the chain fist, but can the praetor take a plasma blaster?

No, I don't think they get to. I'll probably just run it as a Volkite weapon or something. I mostly built it because I thought it would be cool.

This thread in general is a goldmine for inspiration.

I hear that! I regularly lurk around in this thread to steal ideas soak up inspiration for future projects, not to mention gawk in awe of other people's skill.
