That is really cooooool Ikka!

Where is the sword from? The Deathwing Terms set?

Wish I knew- I bought a big box of DA bits off of eBay and couldn't resist slapping the biggest sword in there on him.

Some pics of my recent project: 30k Iron Warriors Elite.gif

First of my Siege Breaker/Forrix

Next are the first of my Iron Havocs. What do you think of the sarge with Lasconnon? I know that MK VI is not that common for the Iron Warriors, but the Iron Hulks test a lot of weapons and armor for the Mechanicum... so it should be okay sweat.gif

posted my Dark Apostle conversion in my WIP thread but finally managed to photograph the miniature mounted on a base and in daylight.

Can you hear the chanting mass of word bearers?

As a fellow Word Bearers player, I have to say I love this!! It's a great conversation and I can definitely see your vision of him addressing a horde of chanting Word Bearers.

Only thing I would say, from the photos you have posted, is the Crozius doesn't look quite right? I'm not sure what it is, but my instant thought was that it is maybe a bit too long...

I would be inclined to cut away the little bit of length between the skull and head of the Crozius, and then reattach the head directly to the skull if that makes sense?

That part looks very thin and flimsy compared to the thickness of the skull and the weight of the head; if it were real it would bend if you hit someone with it. Plus reducing the length would make the whole thing seem a little less unwieldy.

Otherwise, it's fantastic like I said. Really well executed!

biggrin.png You are right, the Crozius is not perfectly balanced. I thing your analysis is spot on, the crown should sit directly on the skull. but I am afraid that the skull becomes invisible when not looking from table level. I ponder cutting the section above the left hand, to shorten it. Maybe I need to visualize both before cutting.

Still have some BaC models to build and the Contemptor is one I shied away from. First attempt using greenstuff, working only with the knife and plastic card to shape it. Better buy a tool. Yet I am happy with the pose, repositioning of the one chopped up leg really works for me, without creating a totally imbalanced overly dynamic pose... but the studs are enourmous, i found them pretty difficult to shape and cut and glue. But hey, black adds to a slender look, so it will probably be a WB. tongue.png

A quick test figure; a Son of Russ that I threw together using some parts from B@C, MKIV, MKIII and a Sons of Horus Reaver head. I've had the head lying around for well over a year now and hadn't found anything to use it on. I think it'll work rather well for my Space Wolves.

Loosely based on Geigor but I wanted a more imposing body since Geigor's Mkiv body looks too small.
