Lostrael
I would call that rhino more or less finished. Except for the name and something nice to write on sword. If somebody has a good idea I would appreciate it. So next I might need a bit more terrain. Stormxlr, Cpt. Interrogator Stobz
Wowza! Fantastic freehand and the overall effect of the green with your dudes is epic. Yup, make some terrain, it doesn't need to have freehand on it, but I suggest it matches your bases :D Stobz Lostrael 1 Back to top
Bryan Blaire
I'm going to ignore the beautifully painted freehand on that vehicle and go "But you left it without a name! How dare you, the Machine Spirit will hate you!" That is a lovely bit of Marine Taxi right there! Lostrael 1 Back to top
Komodo
Beautiful, freehands are crisp and top-notch. Wow. Lostrael 1 Back to top
JJD
The freehand suppasses even your usual standard of excellence. Lostrael 1 Back to top
robofish7591
That freehand is unreal... I thought it was a transfer at first! Lostrael 1 Back to top
Dark Rage
That is a sweet ride! Lostrael 1 Back to top
Chaplain Raeven
My mind must be playing tricks on me, freehand that has more detail than an actual printed transfer? Lostrael, those hands of yours are Godlike. Lostrael 1 Back to top
sneakybamsen
Haha, at first I thought that door was resin... then I read more comments, had another look and realised all of it is freehand. You need to come see the inside of Cell 42, it is a beatiful place... when you have the crafting capabilities of a xenos! Damn, Lostrael. That's golden deamon standard! Greenz
Truly, I don’t know what to say anymore. You keep raising the bar every time you paint, and somehow the next time you surpass that! At first I was blown away by your greens on the rhino (more so than normal), then I noticed the jaw dropping freehand. Then the weathering. Seriously incredible Lostrael 1 Back to top
Lostrael
Thanks all. For some reason I feel always pushed to try out more. Haha, at first I thought that door was resin... then I read more comments, had another look and realised all of it is freehand. You need to come see the inside of Cell 42, it is a beatiful place... when you have the crafting capabilities of a xenos! Beautiful? I'm not sure what the chaplains have done to you? So next I have to some terrain. I'm currently looking for some Dark Angel themed stuff. Scibor has some nice terrain additions which I already used. Has somebody seen something similar? Pearson73
Crikey, that freehand is fantastic. Lostrael 1 Back to top
Lostrael
Seems I have not updated my WIP thread for quite some time. Finally, I found some time to make some photos from my ETL subjects in my dried out garden. I feel a bit irresponsible for having these guys run around with flamer and plasma gun. They could start a bush fire. Chaplain Raeven, Interrogator Stobz, egon1six and 5 others 8 Back to top

Lostrael
Very cool! Used them in a battle yet? Sadly, I had no battle for a while now. *sigh* I fear this hobby will turn more into a painting and reading hobby. G8Keeper 1 Back to top
Chaplain Raeven
Quit the day job and start commissions, you'll get filthy rich! I fear this hobby will turn more into a painting and reading hobby. Such a common story. Come in for the game, stay for the hobby Lostrael 1 Back to top
JJD
Your models look far too good to sit in a box. But at least if you’re posting here we all get to enjoy them. I have recently started playing again and it’s really motivating me to paint new units to make may army a little more competitive. I’m still a super slow painter but I’m a motivated slow painter. Lostrael
Quit the day job and start commissions, you'll get filthy rich! Na, I don't need to be rich, just happy and have enough time and money for my hobbies. Your models look far too good to sit in a box. But at least if you’re posting here we all get to enjoy them. I have recently started playing again and it’s really motivating me to paint new units to make may army a little more competitive. I’m still a super slow painter but I’m a motivated slow painter. I still have some hope. My Ex-Space Wolf colleague promised me a match over some weekend, where we match our whole painted armies against each other. I just need to build a big enough gaming table. mooftak 1 Back to top
Master Ciaphas
Awesome work, Lostrael! Are they done with classic brush work, or that new-fangled airbrush? :-) Lostrael 1 Back to top

I still don't have an airbrush. Interrogator Stobz 1 Back to top
