Lostrael's Dark Angels

Thanks brother. I'm not sure what to say. :blush.:

Sweet lord, those models are beautifull! Well, beautifull may be the wrong word, because they truly look menacing.

How did you paint that lovely green on your weapons?

The green... is a bit complicated.

Game Color Heavy Green as base.

Drybrush/Highlight with Game Golor Gobin Green

Highlight GW Flash Gitz Yellow.

Wash with Game Color Green Ink

Shade with black wash in the gaps.

I'm stuck with that green since the first squad. Was to lazy to go to the hobby shop to buy new/darker green colors.

  • 2 weeks later...

I prepared a devastator squad, a full tactical squad and veterans for ETL. Some bikers are still soaking in alcohol.

That should be enough. I'm so slow I should take snail as heraldic animal... :biggrin.:

I prepared these 4 guys and I'm not sure if I should add them to the ETL pile.

Time for a break.

@ Bloodbath & Captain Semper thanks :smile.:

I hope to find time to paint them as a later vow. They keep staring at me from in which I placed them.

Not sure why I started to paint 3 bikes at once. I can get tiresome. At least this time the paint on the wings will match. Nearly every other of my bikes is painted with a different shade over the year.

I should just quit painting lol....

I love how vibrant your colours are even the subdued Dark Angels scheme's.

Man, you're pushing out even more great looking models! I don't think I've been on your thread since you posted that Terminator... Those shoulder pads turned out beautifully

And those kitbashes, just awesome

Your army looks fantastic. Black is so hard to get right I've tried a couple of methods and I'm not happy yet. I may try your method now and see if it works for me. Keep them coming.

Don't say such terrible thinks.   I love your work.

The full spectrum lamp I use, makes colors appear more vivid and all shadows more pronounced and darker.
And the phone makes good close-up pictures.

Thanks, FW will bring out Terminator shoulder pads a day after I finished equipping mine with green stuff icons, I'm sure. :biggrin.:
