The Flagship bears the symbol of the marked wolf. An Ill omen and a totem not often taken by wolf lords. While the ships of this great company comprise the majority of the host they are joined by Black Templar and Ships of Knight Freeblades calling themselves the Wolfsworn. But it is the Vessels of the 14th great company that lead the host. Because this is their calling. They have returned home to replenish. To scour the fang of those who would be considered lost causes the shamed and tossed back to valuable to kill to dangerous to use. From the Bridge of the Flagship Bjorn Crushclaw and Stybjorn Swiftsword say nothing peering at their homeworld for the first time in longer than any son of Fenris should spend away from the hearth. Behind them the low growling of the Wulfen Packleader Thengir one eye breaks the silence as he struggles to make the words. " Ho....home...." Bjorn Crushclaw feels a fanged smile appear on his face. " No big brother , no longer home to the 14th , but we have been summoned by the Slayer none the less."I Bladewolf will be painting for the wolves in the upcoming ETL. As the Hraethigaldur pushed deeper into the Fenris system, followed by her flotilla of warships, a hiss and crackle sounded across the bridge, Thengir pauses words frozen on his lips, Bjorn slowly turns to face the view screen. He is met by the fang toothed visage of an old and most venerable wolf. The voice like granite rocks scraping together echo across the bridge "About bloody time you showed up. We had almost given you up for lost." Bjorn & Kiaran eyed each other up before breaking into smiles... Dantay VI Posted April 17, 2016 Author Share Posted April 17, 2016 For the past 5 days Terran standard the Wolves ha d been amassing in their ancestral home All was going well in the Aett, there was much feasting, drinking, storytelling and planning being made. The great hall was alive with sounds and smells. From his ancient throne Logan Grimnar slowly rose to look over the sea of warriors gathered around him. The sight warmed his hoary hearts. He cast a side-long glance to Ulrik and gave an imperceptible nod. Ulrik struck the great oak table at which he sat 3 times, and on the 3rd a great hush befell the hall & every eye in the hall turned first to Ulrik and then to Logan “Warriors of Russ!” proclaimed Logan.” I have a small announcement. “I see many here today and you make me proud to be a Vlka Fenryka. You have travelled far & wide to be here. At this gathering I see some champions of old and I also see some young fighters, hungry and eager for glory. At this time we number 39, of which for 9 of you this will be your first taste of war. The reason I am proud, is because at the last gathering we numbered but 35 all-told. So by your gathering here nd joining together you make me proud” “However do not rest on your laurels just yet!! For many of our brothers have yet to return. I urge you, go sound the call and bring them home, for this year we will show the galaxy what Wolves are made of”. Hi, just a quick update. 5 days in we are up to 39 folks on the role-call ready to join the Wolves cause in the ETL. 30 of us have participated in the ETL either here with the WOlves or with other factions and 9 are new to the ETL challenge. Last year the Space Wolves managed to muster 35 to take part. We are doing really well considering ETL is still a wee bit away and I am really chuffed that so many have joined up. However there are still a fair few out there who have yet to make themselves known and to step forward to lets give them a shout and see if they are ready to join in the ETL. Check your inbox Already saw your quite handy introduction to the ETL. Great work. ETL is not entiiiiireeely new to me, but still good. Especially for the really fresh brothers. On another note: I have quite some units already primed or glued together for ETL. And a new package will arrive tomorrow. What's in it? One of the new Space Marine Command Squad (for the banner and all the other goodies), a Land Raider Crusader, a Stormfang... ...and glorious ARJAC himself! And on a completely other note: Let's say I was able to draw an old fan back into a hobby a few weeks ago, and he already bought 2500 points of Ad Mech, an Imperial Knight Warden Kit, got another one for his birthday and NOW I was "dragged" into pre-ordering a IK:Renegade Box by him - of course, certainly not MY idea to share a box. (Well it WAS his idea to buy a second one just for himself, so he can have 5 Knights...) ...would I be allowed to pledge an Imperial Knight for the Space Wolves? How was that handled last year? Some of you DID build Imperial Knights for ETL, right? Well, even if not, I have more than enough to pledge. And I would ONLY pledge the Knight for my last/fifth vow, and ONLY if I get to that with plenty of time before the end of ETL. But still, I have to check that... we want to win, after all.
