Roboute Guilliman, Lord of Macragge, Primarch of the Ultramarines and Lord Commander of the Imperium;

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Guilliman is complete. I can't seem to get a photo that shows the sword in its true colours; its much more gradiated in person with pure white at the tip and highlights.

This has been my first completed miniature in seven years, and I had a ball making him. Now to turn my attention to the true scaled marines once more.

I'm back with some more Shadow War progress.

 

While the announcement of the Primaris marines has halted my progress on my true scale marines, I've been tinkering away making a unit for Shadow War. 
 

 

The whole warband so far; you can see the unpainted minis (the ones with bases completed are finished, just need painting) and I've started working on my leader (the big fat one). I still need to work out what army list I'll be using for them, and build some appropriate specialists and heavy weapons (buying the SW:A rulebook won't hurt, either..). I like the look of Inq28 as well, so they may see use in that system if I can find some other players.

 

Fluff wise, they are nomadic tech scavengers with allegiance to no higher power. They band together for mutual benefit only, and are just as likely to have a scrap among themselves as they are an enemy.

His face has been replaced with a cut-up skull to simulate a mask taken from a corpse. I sculpted the hood and cloak over that to hide the joins.

 

 

A stock model from the Chaos cultists kit. I didn't feel the need to alter him at all other than removing Chaos icons, I like the stock model as it is.

 

 

 

Shotgun specialist - he probably has the most extensive conversion work done so far with the finished minis in the warband. 

 

 

The marksman. I'll use him as a sniper in games.

I've now finished the first warband, though I'm having issues uploading photos right now. So I did a video!

I think I'll go back and add some more water and blood effects to some of them (mainly the leader, who looks suspiciously clean right now) at some point soon.

Once I have the camera issues sorted out I'll take some proper photos. Next up, Dark Imperium has finally arrived and I've been tinkering. Can't wait to get stuck into those miniatures!
