The Carnival of Rot: Circus themed Nurgle gang (May 9)

The maggot cream pie is genius and the clown has come out amazingly. I also love the little rhymes for each one so much nurgely goodness from a small bunch of models.

Now for photo taking there are two things I've found that make all the difference no matter the camera. 

1) stability, a stand or even just a book or two to rest the phone or camera on if your need to raise it.

2) light, get a pair of cheap desk lamps (most people end up with one kicking around somewhere) that will take normal bulbs and then grab a pack of daylight bulbs from amazon or ebay for a few quid each - something like these

should do the job. Then set them up so they point at the models from the front about 45 degrees apart and take the photo from desk level or just above depending on best angle. 

 

Also with digital tech there is no reason to take a dozen photos and delete any that look overly blurry when you transfer them off the camera.

His colouring is a bit different than the others, but I really wanted to keep him looking mime-like, but his little bits of colour mean he still fits with the rest of them.

I'm happy with the black highlights (something I've struggled with before) and my first attempt at rashy skin, rather than just sickly (Also, his song was the easiest to write ;) )

After seeing the most recent Blanchitsu in WD I decided to put some green into the recesses his metallics, I liked the effect so i added it to the others as well, It's really subtle and I think it adds a little something :)

I've also started work on a Spawn, and his 2 handlers. The idea is he's a chained animal, and his role in the show is someone putting their head in his mouth of something like that
