They have sooo much pigment but are so thin are amazing through an airbrush unreal. With new zerkers eventually coming out I don’t know if I want to keep the white world eaters or shift to red? I wash my models then spray with matte varnish before painting Or is it the oils taking the acrylic paints off? I use Vallejo satin & gloss varnish. Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I had to ask: Dantay, do you use the varnish as a primer, or do you apply a primer over it before starting the base coat? Maybe if I hold out long enough, they will release some new berzerkers. I'll probably cave and buy more World Eaters upgrades from forgeworld. The poses are not......at all its a real shame but with a good mix of arms heads and shoulderpads you can really do alot. While I agree we now have so many options to make zerkers.....seeing what they've done with this kit makes me want them even more. Imagine this level of attention to detail but dedicated to WE's. However, you are making it tough! Ive already ordered 5 more gal vorbak as well as Zardu and his blade slaves. Im not a huge fan of going overly chaos with my WE so i am using this BL army to really go nuts. Im also not super into some of the galvorbak parts so ive really enjoyed kitbashing them! Swap the staff for a hefty axe and have blood pouring out of those goblet things on his armor. I definitely love your WE and your take on them. I did copy your berzerker builds and I copied one very specifically :). Your WE legionnaires keep bringing me back to the idea of making a WE force or kill team from right around or just after Skalathrax. They have that white red armor, or what’s left of it, and they are just giving into the nails. As for the gal vorbak I love just about everything but the one with the flesh covered face. No eyes or features. It’s like they just sculpted over a previous attempt and left it. Believe me when I saw I’ll be taking notes of your kitbashes. They work very well with the revamped aesthetic. Also, if you get a chance, would you mind doing a scale shot of the new terminators next to primaris or your berzerkers? I honestly get the feeling with some careful cutting, even the FW torsos could work, looking at the scale of the shoulder pads. They look like they're the same size as the new ones. Hmmm.... These look great man, I'm glad to see the FW upgrades still work. What's your loadout? Thanks man Ive had these upgrades lying around forever. You have to cut the back of the FW heads quite a bit. They made the area wher you put in the heads much more shallow. My loadout is.....no IDEA haha ive honestly never used termies in 8th. Haha i just did what looks cool. Reccomend a load out. It's so nice to have a terminator unit and that looks and feels hulking/intimidating. And i agree im not sold on the heads they seem to lack alot more detail than the rest of the kit.
