I'll just brush some dust off of this :D

Here's a Sorcerer I've been conjuring for ETL, it's the first time I've tried sculpting robes. My putty is about 4 years old, so I've been putting off using it; though the end result is pretty lumpy, I enjoyed working with it and I'll definitely robe up more models in the future.

There's also a Terminator Lord, who - besides a bit of plasticard spacing - has nothing special about him.

Another squad of Marines. I wasn't worried about making super unique poses for each of these guys, I was happy to repeat a 'readied' stance.
It's only 4 strong at the moment because I haven't figured out what I want to do with the last man.

I've also finally started to paint the Primaris from Dark Imperium; here's my prototype, tell me what you think :)

The new sorceror looks fantastic, I never used to like that head from the Terminator Lord kit, but recently it's becoming one of my favourites. Nice posing on the new bolter marines too.

The dirty white and scratched leather look spot on with the Primaris.

Thanks! I know what you mean about the Lord head, it had sat on the sprue for a long time. I ended up using it because it looked a bit unusual compared to more typical heads, thus perfect for a Sorcerer! At least, in theory. :D

That primaris marine is sick! The weathering and scratched leather is perfect. How did you paint the leather?

Thanks, glad to see it's well received. Funny thing is that the leather - along with the rest of the paintjob - is incredibly basic.
The leather is just a basecoat of Mournfang Brown, a wash of Agrax Earthshade and then a 'drybrush' of Zandri Dust. The only trick is getting the 'drybrushing' right; I used a regular brush that wasn't totally dry, didn't get rid of as much paint as you should, and then cross hatched the leather. Done!

Thought I'd see what my Word Bearers would look like if I painted them like my Primaris - at least in terms of technique, not colour.

I don't know if I like it or not, the weathering effect doesn't come through quite as well due to the darker basecoat, and I think the lack of highlighting works to a detriment.

If anyone has any ideas for improvement, I'm all ears.

Took photos in some different light because a good shot seemed impossible.
