Means I'm doing a single thing, thats the gravis captain, and because I've had such a rubbish week, I don't know if I'll even get him finished to be honest.Oh and I started cutting him up yesterday before realising I never actually vowed, so... no idea if this is even valid. Anyway, this should be easy enough to build in addition to the captain conversion. Don't know if I can modify the original vow, so here is a new one. But... in the depths of my spares box I found a model that I never needed and thus didn't build, the captain from AOBR. And even better, with the 8th edition rules he might have a spot on the battlefield as a backfield captain! Success will bring honour to the Blood Angels and the Knights of Baal, whilst failure is not an option... Not 100% sure which head to use yet so I just included them all on the pic lol EDIT: typo Vow completed! I decided to use the GK Paladin helmet after all. I'll use the masked Reiver head if we get that awesome Gravis Captain with fur pelt from the Codex artwork. :P I also changed the position of the sword arm since the high sword pose is pretty lame imo. However I have to apologize for the small base. The one who got the Death Guard half of the DI box used the wrong base for his Lord of Contagion so I was left with one base short. I ordered the same mosaic base you can see on the pic in a larger version but it didn't arrive yet. I robofish7591, rise to the HQ challenge of Blood & Zeal and vow to build my chapter master, Malakim Phoros, for a total of 10 power levels on or before 2359 UTC February 26th, 2018. Success will bring honor to the Lamenters and the Blood Angel faction, whilst failure is not an option. I plan on using some Mk III armor as a base combined with some sanguinary guard parts, and I'll probably use that left over half cape from ahriman to form the base of a new cape for Phoros. Hopefully my greenstuff skills can keep up with the mental image I have for this model! New vow logged (Phoros should be something!) and congrats on completing the first vow, I do like a white undercoat However, I don't recognise the Primaris Captain model. Which one is he? The plan is to use this DC chaplain as a base, but I will probably swap everything else except the legs and jump pack. It is the Terminator Captain with Relic Blade and stormbolter from the Space Marine Start Collecting box. I picked that up this week along with another tactical squad box and some scouts so I am prepared for next week's vow. And have a dreadnought for Elites week.
