What would you want in future Primaris expansions?

Recommended Posts

The bikes being correct, means the big land speeder thing is correct as well. Hope we don't have to wait too long for everything to be revealed properly.

Thanks to Cruor Vault, looks like we have even more confirmation of further stuff not shown:

Lol.... Guess what company didn't sanitize their element inspections on the new site.....

Some nifty stuff in there they didn't preview.

Looks like the half the Primaris stuff for this wave.

The chaplain/executioner, another chaplain, an icon bearer of some sort, the Gravis Devastators (Melta), the Captain with the skeleton on his shield.  the shield guys, the bikes, the assault Intercessors.

Bolded part.... Oh hey look, is this the Hellfuries squad?

EDIT: Looks like we have an image!

I don't like that poor excuse for a sword.

The sword is an executioners sword. He also carries an hour glass. Makes me wonder if he's got a particular role inside the crusade thing as someone who executes heretics or the like.. He doesn't appear to have a crozius as you'd otherwise expect, but has otherwise all the hallmarks of a primaris chaplain.

Ok, I don’t think the executioner guy is a chaplain..... it’s not a croziarus so he could be a higher rank, or it’s own thing.

The bikes being a fast CC unit with some shooting sounds like a good deal.

The melta gun guys appear to be in gravis armor!!!

Any chance that the ancient could be something other than an ancient with a different standard? Perhaps it has a different set of rules from the flag?

Well, the playester in the Discord I'm in said this about the swordguy "Chaplain":

"he is like a Primaris champion and not a chaplain
He is called the Judicar
And he is a beast
It’s an elite choice not an HQ
And makes an enemy unit fight last"

Alrighty then

I’m out of likes man, sorry. Didn’t know it could happen (still don’t like his head)

Any leaked info on the bikes? Or anyone else for that matter?

He's being tight-lipped now....

Though to be honest, I doubt the bikers will have any groundbreaking rules changes. Seeing as how we know what they are already (the novel Fist of the Imperium features a Primaris Outrider Bike squad in it). Literally just bigger biker marines. With added chainswords it seems?

Okay, guesses on the meaning of the new symbol we're seeing plastered all over this wave? It's molded onto the models, so it can't be a campaign badge.

Close-Quarter Specialist Honour marking maybe?

I'm wondering if it's part of specific inside-a-company strike force and then it won't be part of multi-part kits (assuming what we've seen so far is monopose)?

Or there are now different sects within Chapters? Oh snap, Lion woke up and forced Guilliman to add the Hexagrammaton to the Codex Astartes! Yeah, that's not happening, but I'll consider it my one "that's so stupid" comment for this thread.

I'm pretty sure those aren't normal bolt pistols the Assault Intercessors are sporting.

At the moment the Bikes seem like Objective grabbers. I like the models ... a lot. I'm just not sure if they have a role in a competitive build.

Gravis Devestators ... yes thank you, I'll take two units of five please.

The Primaris bikers seem like they’re a 1:1 replacement for bikers. I’d guess the Gravis devastators are units of three; I do share your enthusiasm about them.

My thought on the Hellfury? Is that Aggressors and Inceptors are 3-6. So hoping a Gravis Devestator follows that pattern.

I'd guess the Bikers are a 3 man squad same as Suppressors. Not a fan of this 3 man unit thing. I'm old old school, but I'll deal with it. Eliminators would be sick as 5 man squads.

Alright lads, back home from work now, so I return bearing more rumours from the pocket playtester. Some interesting stuff to speculate on.

So, this was in response to someone saying they wanted to offload the bikes:

"Yeah I would hold on to those bikers, they are crazy good."

this was me inquiring to what he said above:
"crazy good how? Because unless they have any some kind of funky rules all I see are just chainswords and twin both rifles Unless you're referring to the fact that they'll be zipping around with three wounds a 14-inch movement and toughness 5?"

Which leads into this, which is the most important bit imo:
"Yeah they have some other stuff and the profile is better
They be legit tasty for all marine factions especially for ones with bonuses to combat
I think WS, BT, BA, DA, and SW will all do well with a load of these.
I think they may be the most “competitive” choice from the models previewed thus far"

I'm hoping the bikers can be run as a 6. I expect the Hellfuries will match existing Gravis and work as units of 3-6

If the Outriders can be in as big of squads as the regular bikers.... My Ravenwing will be very, very happy
