DuskRaider
They look great, sir. How did you end up doing the trim? Leadbelcher with multiple washes of Nuln Oil? Gore Crow
Nice transfer placement on those knights, very effective. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350330-captain-sempers-adeptus-titanicus-project/page/14/#findComment-5245911 Share on other sites
Captain Semper
Thank you guys!  When the game first hit the shelves I sort of snubbed the Knights but those minis are a real joy to paint and extremely easy to put together! (And fairly poseable without resorting to conversions)  The trim is very simple (as most of my recipes): eshin grey as a base (which has some blueish quality), a watered down wash of drakenhof blue, a small touch up with eshin grey again and a very light dry brushing with administratum grey. That’s all. :)  The decals were really fun to put on, although I did not follow any conventions as presented in the Imperial Knights Companiin IR Codices... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350330-captain-sempers-adeptus-titanicus-project/page/14/#findComment-5245932 Share on other sites
Zhiv
Also I'd like to point out how well the orange bases go with these guys too. Though you could maybe add some texture to make them tad more interesting. Just not too much to distract from the miniatures themselves. I went for less is more with the red. I’m going to be more liberal with the Questoris... Captain Semper
After A LOT of work here's the final pics... And a family pic: I reworked the bases of the Cerastus too... A word of advice: DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THESE MINIS!!! Seriously the amount of detail in such a small area had me testing my brush-control skills to the fullest. With mixed results... Achinadav
They're really lovely, worth the extra effort that all that detail causes. Now I'm a bit worried whether I can pull Lilliputian knights... Allart01
Those are some great looking knights - clever use of the decals there. Captain Semper
Thank you guys!  The minute detail tested my sanity big time. My advice is, do not underestimate these models, especially the Questoris.  Now to do Black Arrow’s gun and pledge a Reaver to the TotH! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350330-captain-sempers-adeptus-titanicus-project/page/14/#findComment-5252634 Share on other sites

Captain Semper
Thanks guys! Time to tie loose ends: Do the Volcano Canon for Black Arrow Pledge a Reaver for TotH. Captain Semper
OK, decals came in so here it is: PROVOCATOR NAVUS: He is already heavily decorated, but I did the shoulder shields and the shoulder pads: I know the film sort of shines but I'll get some mat varnish on it really soon... Next, the Reavers: ATHEUS VINDICTA BLACK ARROW With his proper hand: The volcano canon! (and the knee pad transfer) And the four Warhounds: Parweke, Warsmith Uveron, Reyner and 8 others 11 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350330-captain-sempers-adeptus-titanicus-project/page/14/#findComment-5258842 Share on other sites
