Thank you! Definitely bigger and bulkier, and with a cathedral on top it'll fit the bill. I was reading that the Imperator's head is also situated relatively lower than on other titans, more at the same level as the guns, so while the imperator/castellan and warmaster might have heads at the same level ,the  imperator will be much bigger.

As I'm mad,, I've magged the tiny turrets on the warmaster kit. It's so detailed, really almost an action figure, it felt a shame to glue things into fixed positions.

Another Alpha Hab Block building? That's right!

ALPHA HAB BLOCK TWO!

alpha_20.jpg
alpha_21.jpg
alpha_19.jpg

The Alpha Hab Block Two is designed for 6mm/8mm gaming, but it could probably be upscaled for 10mm and 15mm scaled gaming as well. This makes the Alpha Hab Block suitable for games such as Adeptus Titanicus, Dropzone Commander, or Battletech.

The kit contains both single piece as two piece (separate roof) versions of the building.
- 3 single piece Alpha Hab Block Two (which each of the 3 roof types)
- 3 separate roofs
- walls put together as a single piece

The dimensions of the buildings are 77.64mm deep and 65.67mm wide. The heights vary (depending on the roof type), but the "walkable" part of the roof is 83.12mm tall.

Note that the final picture with the infantry base only shows how 25mm round based infantry look on and next to the building. Infantry and bases are not included in this kit.

There's people who DON'T magnetise them?? For shame!!

There a REALLY good conversion of a Castellan converted into an Emperor. Using an awful lot of plasticard but it's such an amazing build. I'll see if I can dig it out of my computer.

@malika666 Great stuff man. You know I've been waiting ages for different sized buildings from you!!

That would be great thanks! I've seen the Tempestus one at WHW by the GW staffer, using the AT terrain, which is nice, but I want the true rounded leg citadels.

Another day, and some new (modular) buildings are out! You can basically stack them up as short or tall as you want, depending on how many level components you wanna print out and cram in there. :)

I’ve started painting my Dire Wolves today. Technically they should be very very far back in the queue behind a mountain of Imperialis minis and a full army of Legio Audax, but the models are so cool and unique that I had to do them first.

I had originally planned on making them Audax since they fit the bill, but Mortis is my first and primary Legio so that’s where they’ll go. I magnetized the carapace and “arm” weaponry as well, so I can swap as I see fit for whatever Maniple I field them with. While I may primarily use the Neutron Laser, the Conversion Beam seems like a really solid choice, especially as backfield support… something which Warhound-centric Maniples often struggle with.

After these are complete, I’m hoping to finally have the courage to tackle my Audax. I picked up this interesting wireless airbrush on Amazon and plan on using the dryer sheet technique to paint them. Unfortunately, most were pickups from pieces out Imperialis Starter Boxes so the weapons layout isn’t the best, but I did grab one of the reboxed original Warhound kits to get my hands on some Plasma and Megabolters.

I know I should spend more time on my own Void Barons setting, or my The Fringe inspired stuff, yet here I am getting distracted doing Adeptus Titanicus compatible parts. This time it's a Cerastus Knight compatible Gravity Gun.

Today in AT I...

Found all the new warhound weapons I had put 'in a safe place' awaiting magnetisation. Put them somewhere while I waited on magnets, got the magnets...and promptly forgot where they were...which was in a box with my also-leadbelcher sprayed warmaster.

I did something similar with my magnets. Packed them up in a "perfectly logical" container and place. Promptly forgot both and had to replace everything. Went to put the new magnets away and instinctively reached for the container with the "lost" ones....

So is that what I have to do to find my lost decals, buy new ones? I bought some ancient Bretonnian ones with stags to go on my Legio Defensor … why didn’t I put them with my other Decals!?

Almost certainly....

Had an awesome game with @Olis over the weekend, we decided to shake things up and speed up the game - every titan had the order dice rolled for it each turn, no choosing, with one reroll per side, and no command check to override the machine sprit, the spirit always kicks in!

Some really funny effects like titans randomly full striding, or having to split fire, and a couple of terribly timed Full Shutdowns! added to the hilarity!

Edited by Xenith

Uh, that sounds like crazy fun. Probably some kind of scrapcode?

I've also started my second game in '24 last weekend. Our time ran out after 3-4 hours, in the middle of turn 2. Excluding some casual conversation that sure was had, I fear a lack of routine has summed up again. Luckily, I have the space to leave it all as it were until hopefully soon.

Attached is a snapshot of the map prior to deployment and a detail of a White Scars Drop pod assault against the traitor guard.

Guess I will make some more pictures of the ongoing battle - a loyal Pallidus Mor Venator with Dire Wolf and Sinister Support against a Krytos Extergimus with some Knight Support.

Are people still playing Titanicus or have you all switched to Legions Imperialis?

My local group is still getting thir imperialis stuff built and painted, maybe 5-6 people with it, but no games played yet, titans still definitely played more, but that's behind heresy, 40k and things like Legions and Bolt Action.

Has anyone tried using just Titans with LI? How have you found it?

If you are a fan of the Titanicus game as a game (which i am), there is 0% chance imperialis will ever replace it. The games are so vastly different you cant compare them. Titanicus where i play remains the same as it ever was, a niche game of a niche hobby. Imperialis did not really change anything.

I've collected a bit of LI because of the models and out of an initial curiosity for the game. Got me some Sons of Horus because of the nice main color, some iron warriors as companions to my Krytoi, some White Scars because of Siege of Terra... don't like the Imperial guard infantry from LI, though, so the ones from the starter mostly haven't even left their sprues. Life, as well as the very mixed vibes in the community about the LI rules, have so far kept me from more. Guess LI will mostly stay nice to have models for me, at least as long as I already struggle to get regular games in in one game.

The imperial guard seen in the pictures above started as terrain and stratagems even before LI was announced. I found a handful of white scars as opponents made for a nice backdrop for AT - Infantry and tanks are having their surely heroic yet tiny things, while we're beholding the clash of god machines: Two almost independent battles in the same battlefield (apart from a Shadowsword acting as macro battery and a battery of basilisk as an Apoc strongpoint).

That's pretty much the same as here then. A few of us play Titanicus and when LI initially hit a few of us took the plunge and got the set but only one of us really took it any further.  All my LI stuff is still on the sprue and they will most likely only end up as base decoration for my Titans.

That's exactly what I did. I used a Shadow sword for the Macro Cannon Battery, A Praetor as a Apoc Strong point and A squadron of Basilisks to represent the artillery stratagem. I was going to go for some AI planes to represent the Bombing Run strat but never got there.
