Titans behave completely different in the two games to the point where they are barely recognizable other than the models themselves. Titans in LI are little more than walking gun platforms and behave as such. They’re very simplistic and, if we’re being honest, extremely underpowered. The granularity is absent and with it a lot of what makes Titans fun.

Personally I've got a fair bit of LI stuff but I much prefer Titanicus as a game. There's obviously some others here who feel the same, but this AT forum may not be the most representative of the community as a whole.

 

I do think LI did quite a lot of harm to AT, but mainly because of the messed up launch that meant you couldn't buy Titans for ages. A game always needs new players to join as other players will inevitably find other things to spend their time on. That long period where nobody new could start was a huge problem. Now I think a new edition would be needed to get it off the ground again.

I was looking to get a couple of Cerastus Atrapos knights for my battlegroup. The GW website has them listed as sold out. Some of the other items say "temporarily out of stock". Does this mean they won't sell them again or is it just confusing wording? Does anyone know of suitable alternatives if they do stop producing them?

They’ll be back in stock at some point in time. GW makes the FW resin models and accessories in small quantities due to their more involved casting process, so they tend to sell out quickly. Check back every now and then, they’ll be back up soon I’m sure. It’s the same story with the Asterion, it constantly sells out due to low production quantity and high demand.
