Sword Brother Adelard
I still cannot see ALL of our datasheets in a campaign book.
Acebaur
Guys lets keep the discussion to BT, if you want to discuss the IF character please do so in the N&R or IF forums. Thanks
Smirnov
To stay on topic, these leaks pretty much confirm that we have a seaparate book, but really nothing new here (
Marshal Reinhard
Still very curious to see just how much space CF are given in the Imperial Fist supplement, since we know they're in there now. If they're just getting barebones coverage there, then it seems really strange to take out our presence from that book to just stick it in as some foot note in some witchening campaign book. It'd be less effort just give us a single or half-page of lore, and stick or data sheets on another 2 pages and call it a day... so why not do that, but instead actively dick us over in another non codex supplement book? It just doesn't make sense. Â And since squatting was never on the table, conceivably, what ARE getting can only go up from there?
painting.for.my.sanity
Still very curious to see just how much And since squatting was never on the table, conceivably, what ARE getting can only go up from there? I'm crossing my fingers that the plan was to give us a few pages in the Fists supplement, but after a positive response in the community survey, they decided to delay the release and give us more stuff. One can dream, eh?
Sete
Rules is a given. Besides that we have to wait and see.
Link2edition
Its a good thing to be absent from the IF supplement. It also is what I expected given we got our own section on the GW store, and CF got lumped into the IF section.
Marshal Reinhard
Well it's not just rules, that's just the minimum and obviously something wer'e getting, and if it was just that it could literally have been placed anywhere. Getting our own supplement would've meant 60-70 or more pages, most of which would've been fluff. Now, since the rumors says we aren't, and they've more or less been spot on on all counts so far, it begs the question what we ARE getting. Rumor is a spot in a campaign book, which just increasingly seems like a strange decision, since I doubt such a spot would stop to devout more than a handfull pages for us. Which begs the question why NOT place us in the IF book? It just doesn't quite add up.  Or how much room has a faction (any faction) previously at most gotten in a campaign book?
Sword Brother Adelard
What did the Black Legion get in Vigilus 2? I didnt buy it as there seemed to be no point as a loyalist player.
Medjugorje
If we want to dream than we could suspect that this entry would be a test for a whole codex.

Sword Brother Adelard
What about fluff? Was there focus on them, or just their role on Vigilus?
AlmightyWalrus
I'm half expecting us to not have doctrines at all to be honest. They're a Codex Astartes thing, aren't they?
Brother Talarian
Based on the most recent article I think we’re better suited in the campaign book.  Seem to have new models, and evidently new rules. I have high hopes and am super pumped.
Sword Brother Adelard
We are not getting a codex separate from the C:SM, half of our rules are already in it.
Marshal Reinhard
Didn't vigilus 2 come with an update for the CSM codex or am i misremembering that?
balordazul
Yep it was get that or the reprint codex for CSM. Â Edit: Also my hype is up for not being in the IF supplement but yes it could just be a simple relocation. Â At least it will be some more exposure. Marshal Reinhard
The IF supplement? I can't see how that could possibly be the case, since we're our own thing. Any rules for successors to do so is for all the other successors without an identity

My point was that it seems some people think we're getting a whole new codex, as opposed to a supplement for the existing one.
