Finished up the plasma support squad. I still have so much mark VI I don't know what to do with! Might make another 'mark v' as shown here support squad.

Do tell how you made the cables on these guys legs, pretty please?

I've got more Mk.VI marines lying around than I know what to do with, but converting a bunch of them into Mk.V has been on my mind for quite some time now.

They're a mark V upgrade set on a certain purple site that are by Red-Warden!

@Hungry Nostraman Lizard Wow! Those look stunning. I’m particularly impressed with the OSL technique.

@Cadmus Tyro very well modelled, looking forward to seeing them painted!

Nice work as usual @Astartes Consul!

Gorgons to fill my existing squad out to ten, with a herald in Gorgon TDA.

They look great, where's the banner and arm from? I always struggle to figure out how I'll do a TDA standard bearer

It’s the banner from the MKii command squad kit (OOP). The hand and arm are just standard Gorgon bits, just need to cut out the Power armoured hand attached to the pole, and make the space bigger for the TDA hand.

Yesterday I couldn't sleep, so made this little guy from scratch and broken pieces. Not my best job but I'm satisfied with it.

And (mostly) done. I need to apply decals, do the base and maybe change the color of the green shoulder pad to black. But is done

Finished a command squad for my Iron Warriors, featuring the first Iron Warrior I painted (the Warsmith). Thoughts?

I went for the Sons of Horus accent colors for these guys, my thoughts for this company of Iron Warriors - post-decimation, and disgraced - they're basically told to feth off by the Lord of Iron, and they end up shadowing one of the Luna Wolves/later Sons of Horus fleets.

Excellent! I love the power maces, very similar to the model weared by the old metal CSM terminators. And the helmets,by the way.

I thought I’d share these here to get some views. A bit late now, but still interested to hear thoughts given the occasional heated discussion about Mk VII armour in Heresy!

I thought I’d do a unit of Inductii for my VIIth, and given the new-fangled Mk VII had just started production, I think they’re lore-appropriate for the Siege at least.

I decided to make them as unornamented as possible, removing purity seals and chest eagles, apart from on the sgt.

I’ve done a full complement of Vox/Scanner/Vexilla, plus the two Heavy Bolters we’re allowed in Inductii, plus a junior squad leader to allow me to break them into two ten man units.

Lastly, I gave them all Umbra pattern bolters, hunting the old FW ones down on eBay. I thought this would make them look more Heresy-era, and it wouldn’t make sense to have loads of types of magazines and ammo sizes when you’re trying to manage logistics!

Keen to see if there are any Heresy purists who would really object to playing against these? I’m not looking to pick a fight, I’m genuinely interested what kind of reaction I might get bringing these to an event. Cheers!

Finally decided that this beauty should belong to the Iron Xth:

Loaded for ranged anti-dreadnought work, I know it’s not the most efficient choice but…rule of cool.

Always loved the colour plate of the Iron hands malcador in “Massacre”.

I'm nickpicky about miniatures matching the fluff, and I'd say that your IF inductii with MkVII are a great idea and you've done a great job!. The paint scheme really sells them.

Spoiler

But I can't resist to mention that the Heavy Bolters, backpacks, and some of the helmets are anachronic. Not that it would ever be a problem for any sane person given your effort, but still noticeable for a rivet counter like me, heh.
