Dread
Just a thought but how about the green you are using on the weapons for the cloak. I think that would be a good contrast and show status. Looking good so far btw. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/363913-order-of-the-divine-light/page/2/#findComment-5531598 Share on other sites
RolandTHTG
I think you should go with black robes on the repentia superior. I think it's a fitting color for her station, one who punishes the guilty in their own ranks. Think of it similar to how the space marine chaplains are in black. Stendal
I think you should go with black robes on the repentia superior. I think it's a fitting color for her station, one who punishes the guilty in their own ranks. Think of it similar to how the space marine chaplains are in black. I had the same thought and it is usual in many places. black is assumed as a negative color. But for this specific miniature, since black is in the central part of the miniature, I did not end up liking the result. So the next option was green like weapons. And so it has ended: Next ones, a superior and a flamethrower: Edited April 21, 2021 by Stendal painting.for.my.sanity, Bjorn Firewalker, NKirkham24 and 1 other 4 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/363913-order-of-the-divine-light/page/2/#findComment-5535301 Share on other sites

Stendal
It's been a while since I put the following miniatures ... but it doesn't mean that I haven't continued painting. In fact, I have finished all the "armoured" sisters I have. The Repentia, the Arches and the PE remain. It will be some time before I can supply myself with more of these fantastic miniatures ... Today I bring you the Seraphim, the Canoness and a photo of the whole set I've magnetized the seraphim's backpack with the fllying base, to facilitate transport. (the fusion guns are from old metal canonesses) (converted querubim from normal SoB's Simulacum Imperialis' squad) Canoness All "sisterhood" (sorry for the messy background) Next... some non-armoured miniatures. Stendal
It's been a while... I have no more sisters, but I have finished the Penitent Engine. It has been transformed from an old Prodos War miniature, changing the limbs (and magnetized) with a Penintent Engine from the special box. Stendal
All the fervent faithful of the Emperor know that time and space are not an obstacle to the grace of the Divine Light of our beloved God Emperor. Even the imperial calendar has proven inaccurate over time, so a year without supplies is nothing more than a grain of sand in a hourglass that nobody pays attention to. After a holidays passed by the necessary restrictions caused by Nurgle, I can affirm with pride and determination the acquisitions that have been accumulating and I have now received are: - Celestine, the Living Saint - The Triumph of Saint Katherine - Three Canonesses (HQ and bits) - Two Dialogus - Two Imagifier - Two Hospitaller - Four Battle Sister SE (from Special Edition box) squads - Two normal BS squads - One Retributor squad - One Seraphim SE squad - Two Zephirim squads - One Arco-flagellant SE unit - One Repentia SE unit - One Repentia normal unit - Two Penitent Engines - An Exorcist - One Amalia Novena- Two Tariana Palos I don't like the pose and look of almost any of the characters (Imagifier, i am looking especially at you), so expect some conversions this year. Lots of them. Even the Exorcist is going to be changed. And this year's modeling project will be the Death Cult Assassins. Stay tuned! Stendal
The work of a few painting sessions in the sisters of battle "Grenade launcher" squad. Some standard and SE bodies and even Retributor. I love these arms to make very unique and dinamic poses. Big Guns. The extreme sisters are from the SE box squad, same as the second from the right. The second left is the imagifier body. Some standard sisters and a Superior (Novena), all conversions. Two 2B(n't) as a Death Cult Assasins. The photo is of very poor quality (how difficult it is for the white to look good in the photos). Sisters of Khaine bodies, 3d printed weapons, SoB standard heads and greenstuff. More to come!
