Back in the day I used to have several WiP posts and a Blog on here.

In 2011 I unified these all into one mega thread called ' DarKHaZZl3's Armies of the Imperium '

 

I intended to collect an army for each available Army of the Imperium.
When 8the edition rolled around mm commitment to that sort of died XD

Instead I sort of just posted the stuff I was working on currently...and for the most part, the WiP  faded away being replaced with completed projects and commission work.

Only today did I remember that, instead of posting my completed stuff in my WiP post, I could post them in the actual forum for them XD

I intend to sort everything out and be more active again...

So here is my first post in here

Abaddon the Despoiler of the Black Legion

The piece is a mix of standards; the client didn't want it to be too high of a standard, but really wanted to have some osl around the head/ face.
So this is where I ended up.

I'm pretty happy with the end result, though I would have preferred to do a little more with the base... but there you go

Don;t paint OSL too often, and I don't use an airbrush (I not good enough with one yet) so I was quite please how it turned out

Great Unclean One - Table Top-ish Standard

The yellow gas is to emulate mustard gas (the army is meant to have a WW1 esq feel to it), but other than that it's pretty standard Nurgle.
The base is a little basic, but any additional details will be added by the client, so my hands are tied there.


Overall, for just under 18 hours I'm pretty happy with it.


Tried a black background for a change.
I think the pictures came out pretty good.
I do have some on a white background too... I'll upload those and share them soon too!

not much to say with this one, as it's the same as the previous post, but I find the difference in overall finish and feel from just changing the background is crazy

Ultramarine Master of Signal and Legion Preator - Low Table Top

The scheme is based on Pete the wargamers scheme (how the client is painting their army) with some of my own flair.
The basses are being replaced by their own custom bases too.

Very happy with the MoS's face...was a new recipe and I think it turned out really nicely :)
