Finished the second Platoon Commander today!

 

He’s probably not efficient points wise but imo looks like he’s not gonna take anyone’s :cuss!!

 

Just realised after taking the pics that I forgot to add the mud. Doh!

Sadly Krieg officers lead from the front! Mud on the boots is a must.

 

As for snipers, I’m waiting for the Warhammer+ exclusive Vindicare Assassin. I have no immediate plans to add snipers apart from that.

 

For the road map moving forward, I want to finish my Artillery Company (I still need to paint 2 Heavy Mortars, 3 Quadlaunchers and an Earthshaker Carriage)

 

Once that’s done I’m planning on building an Armoured Company backed up with a Baneblade and Shadowsword.

 

So plenty to be getting on with!

I’ve finally finished all of my Deathriders! (A total of 21!)

 

I like to think of them as a platoon as I have an Officer, a Command Squadron and 2 basic squadrons.

 

I just absolutely adore these models, so much detail and easy to build and paint.

About the Nids, I actually sold them once the codex was released!

 

I have an agreement with my wife that All my hobby stuff has to fit in a wardrobe in my bedroom.

 

Long story short, I needed to make room so I chose the Nids to go. Got a good price for them.

I fully Understand, when we bought our Apartment last year (2 bedroom apartment for me, my wife and our9yr old son)  due to space reduction I had to "lose" 3/4 of my stuff (also known as grey pile of shame) and only have a gaming space allocation similar to you 

it's good in the fact you have new models, you paint them and play them and there's no great amount of guilt (unpainted models) sitting around taking up room. 

I'm glad you got a good deal for them  , but what's your son going to play with now?...or has he moved on from 40k...(or am i getting fraters mixed up and you don't have a son at all  )...

No, you’re right, I have a son and 2 daughters.

 

I find a purge every now and then helps to keep things fresh.

 

My boy is currently playing Necrons and Ultramarines! (Hence the lack of space)

 

I really should get on with painting them but I’m too wrapped up in my Krieg atm!

I think moving forward I’ll be using the GW plastic kits. Hopefully they don’t look too different.

 

Once again I’ve given the Watchmaster a bionic arm! (Just love it!)

This week’s offering is a Quadlauncher team! These little fellas pump out 4d6 Str 5 shots each.

 

I’ve put 2 in my 1500pt list to try them out.
