Oh, @A.T.does your rifle have the Accurate quality? That quality gives extra damage when aiming in DH2, but not DH1 unfortunately, so unless @Trokair wants to homebrew...

It dose have Accurate, so that migth be it, thanks Petragor.

I am intendingto stick to DH1 unless it dosent cover something, then it is hombrew/adapt time like the vechile combat rules that I took from Deathwatch and modified a little to suit.

From the Dark Heresy errata :

The description of the Accurate quality on page 128
should include the addition “When firing a single shot from
a single Basic Weapon with the Accurate quality benefiting
from the Aim action, the attack gains an extra d10 of
damage for every two degrees of success to a maximum of
two extra d10.”

Including an extra -10 penalty for moving Aria manages five total degrees of success (the initial hit and four extra vs a target of 45) for two extra dice. Which probably would have been more impressive if they hadn't rolled 1 and 3 in there :p

By the way @Trokair, what happens if I try to disembark and fail? Is the action wasted, or do I fall prone, take damage…?

Depends on DoF, you may still get off but end up prone (with or without damage) or you may still be enbarked.

Written my actions, actually managed to hit with a random suppressing shot (which given how unbalanced my rolls are  usually means that the next time I need to roll to do something important I'll be spending a Fate point to re-roll a 90+...) and will be heading off to bed. Good luck and I'll see what happens after a few hours!

For reference. David is now about 2m from Varn, which puts the front of David at about 22m from the initial Wolfquad and the rear of David at about 24m from the newly arived Wolfquads of the Beta Bandits.

Perhaps he wasn't planning on using Man-Stopper rounds with his Hunting Rifles, but is now.

I see it as a plus - manstopper rounds are expensive and Aria couldn't afford to buy many at character creation :p

Hunting rifles and the long-las are very all or nothing weapons compared to full auto since one dodge evades it all, but rifles and dual-shot pistols make great stand-ins for heavier weapons against the kind of high toughness lumbering monsters you might run into while off on an adventure like this and they are dirt cheap compared to the real thing.

@A.T. - Thank you. As per a request from the GM @Trokair for mentioning the Errata.

If it is any consildation, Aria did kill the RPG launcer Bandit due to the beniffit of the errata.

I'll do the rest of the round shortly will try to have an updated map and round two later or tomorrow morning.

Sorry for missing all this conversation. Was at work and stuff. But Kazimir leaned and shot instead of full got out and I will fix the post when I get a chance.

edit: just read the main IC thread and apparently played as if he vacated which works. I will just go with that and roll a agility test in a minute likely falling on my ass lol.

How far is the woodline where we hear the Delta's crying out from the blast?

Its in the undergrowth goiing down the ravine, about 12m from David, Only Aria, Helene and Varn would have had line of sight, and of those I think only Aria would have been looking that way (from when they shot at her).
