@Tro: Agreed with all of those suggestions! :P

Seriously though, get some rest, trying to write anything when you've got a full on headache is horrid! (I know, I get migraines!)

@MG: Aw, I thought given how secretive the Eldar are, I was being quite generous. Don't worry, you'll learn more soon enough!

Be glad I'm not the GM:

"Passed, 6 Dos!"

"Yep, it's a male Eldar."

"Is that it?"

"He's got hair?"

:p

Your character is reasonably sure it's not human. However, your character is uncertain as to whether it is merely heretical or dangerously heretical. Please consult with your nearest Ecclesiarchal Priest, Commissar or Chaplain for further guidance.

In any event, the xenos is undeniably disgusting and extremely offensive to your refined sensibilities.

@Lysimachus _ I wasn't being sarcastic.

@MR - Oh thank you its a Hair Male Ship is it then?

Need an extra DoS for that.

FWIW, I thought Lysi was generous too, no sarcasm intended either.  The name of the Eldar faction was quite unexpected.  I anticipated the old mainstay:

"The Eldar are inscrutable!  Who knows their capricious nature, it is Heresy to try and even understand the alien...be thankful you survived their attentions...now go back to stabbing and undermining one another for my entertainment..."

Wait...is that just me?

EDIT:  It's actually reassuring I brought Hellfire and Plasma.  Without Deathwatch Training, you have to confirm for RF against Xenos.  Thankfully, both the ammo and weapon are Volatile and cause it automatically anyway.

@MG: Ah, that's ok then! :P

@Mazer: To be honest, telling you their name means very little as the faction in question are another of my DIYs (see my Kill Teams thread) and I've never revealed anywhere who they are or what they are about!

So at this point Taka'Yoake = random pointy ears! :D

I suspected something like that ;)

We're going to be famous lads!  Yarr! :pirate:

Perhaps a little too famous. The last stand of 1st Claw comes to mind.

Good, I can't wait to unleash my Ultramarine character on you all.

Ooh Nasty 'Ard pointy ears - especially the one with the big chainsword!

Watch out for that bloke.  A fight's a fight, but mess with that lad and you'll end up 25p a slice in Tesco.

Sorry, little bit of a wall'o'text there, but I couldn't see where to break it up that wouldn't spoil the flow.

Anyway, there you go, something for the team to ponder over as they move forwards! :D

@Lysimachus - absolutely fine with the post. Stuff needed to be said.

Don't prod the GM.

Black Cohort's post helped with Draak's post because of the the rangers attack.

Last night was when I saw the earlier post at midnight and that's why I put in the placeholder. To stop Draak being more belligerent - walking through the Farseer etc, etc.

Sorry gents! :P

I know it's a general flaw of my writing, to use 10 words where 1 would have done the trick! Then you combine that with writing an Eldar character (who I imagine just love the sound of their own voice!) and it makes for looong posts....

Good job it was a hologram, I had a vision of Vasalius doing a Conan:

Well I was thinking that Draak coud swipe his arm through the Eldar or even walk through him, like people did to Rimmer from Red Dwarf.

"Or the Imperator could possibly be The Imperium of Man torn into two by an expansion of the Eye of Terror, the Maelstrom and the other warp rifts."

Draak must be psychic himself... :P

I'll hold off on having Achard obey those orders, until anyone else who wants to has had a chance to add a reaction. Then I'll move us forward to the final setting!

@Lysimachus - Well perhaps I over did it. But it's hinted at that Draak might be a teensy bit psychic. I put it in one of his posts. Edited by Machine God
