Yeah I just thought it was a mechanically relevant question given the Iron Gods' apparent lack of psycho-conditioning/indoctrination as compared to a traditional chapter, and lack of Chaplains or similar to tend to a battle-brother's spiritual health. I'm of course enjoying the RP and game as a whole, I was just curious if there were to be more mechanical consequences for actions taken (and if we haven't crossed any thresholds yet then so be it!).

out of game, what is the plan?  is Commissar Molotov leaving the game?  Bringing in another character?

I'm going to be leaving the game to focus on the continuing adventures of Blackthorn and Swordhand. Talek Varn seems confident that eventually the Traveller will have no other option but to return and join the Iron Gods - and he may be right.

 

In the meantime, there's nothing like a good power vaccuum!

Thanks again Mol for taking over the Traveller. It made me so happy to know a friend was continuing his story. I think he was better off with a gifted writer like yourself. ❤
 

I am also excited to see what comes next for Blackthorn and Swordhand. It will be fun to play Pyke again.

I'd just like to thank everyone who has taken part for their support and wonderful, characterful writing!

 

Especially thanks go to Mol for joining our crew, and I'd like to wish him well with continuing the altogether nobler adventures of Blackthorn and Swordhand! If you ever feel like coming back aboard, you'll be very welcome!

 

To everyone else, I hope that you aren't done with Talek Varn and his motley crew, though of course I understand if anyone else needs or wants to hand in their grey and red! My plan is to take a break for a few months. With Mol's Blackthorn and Mazer's Tau game kicking off, there is plenty to keep the forum going!

 

I'm thinking that I'll spend a month or two putting stuff together for Ep.3. Then from 1st March I'll start confirming which players want to continue, and get their XP spends from Ep.2 worked out with them (you can of course start doing that earlier if you want!). Assuming all of that goes to plan, I will put Saturday 2nd April (not the 1st! :D) as the start date for Ep.3.

 

I hope that is agreeable to everyone, and thank you all once again for your company and hard work in this game!

If I am reading the chart correctly, all our new XP can be spent on rank 2 things? If so is there a rank 2 Iron Gods advances? like this one for rank 1

Edit: related question, what renown level are we considered now? I am considering taking a signature wargear and it has to be something we can requisition.

Thanks to our GM Lysimachus for his largesse to me as a player, and an interesting game with plenty of ups and downs, and my compliments to the Player Group for accepting me into their number not once, but twice.  Thank you for your collaborative stories and top notch writing.

Nah, that's cool, we can safely assume that between Ithan's help and returning to the greater resources (comparatively speaking) of the Iron Gods, any damage can be easily repaired!
