I really hope that all this focus on inquisitors means that there will be an inquisition kill team released. A generic inquisitor model with a large selection of heads, weapons and arms for customization would be a cool release.

The Canonness kit is a great template for what an Inquisitor multi-kit could be. Ideally we’d have 4 kits: 2 male, 2 female, with a power armor and carapace armor kit for each

This is what I’m hoping for.

Steve

I'm hoping to start Combat Patrols in my university. Go wargaming school team!

KT would be a cool in, but I'm not waiting on it and I don't play either faction.

There's only two factions in the box, but the Compendium book that's supposed to be released at the same time will have all the other main 40k factions in :)

I've no issue being patient but I really wanted it done before school started up again. Getting anything done once we get back is going to be a mare and I wanted KT to introduce it to students.

Absolutely, I'm helping to start a gaming group for young people (under 18) at the beginning of September, and I've been painting a couple of Kill Teams to run demo games at it. It'd be helpful to have some time to at least get familiar with the rules before then..!
Awesome and sounds fun :) I've got orks, necrons and marines ready to roll. Krieg and kommandos would finish it nicely.

Good luck to us both. :D

I never looked at that kit before. Thank you for the suggestion; it's perfect!

Making the Krieg's trench shovel a defensive item (!) is amazing trolling by GW.

Pricier than I’d hoped—especially considering I’ll still need a second book—but it’s what I expected.  It’s a lot of terrain and some killer models.  Might be the thing that finally gets me into orks.

Based on all the other boxes that have been dropping I agree. If you're looking at separate prices of 30 quid plus per squad plus board plus scenery plus rules plus counters etc then it's "not bad"..

Could KT have the dreaded double turn mechanic?

It works in AoS, it adds additional thinking and depth and enables a second turn player to claw something back.

Guess we'll see "soon"

Prior to 3rd and however that's changed with all the actions and abilities used in the opponents phase, it didn't. All it did was let one player win and the other stand around forever.

Here isn't the place for this chat but that's quite an overstatement and generalisation. I've never experienced anything like because of it it can't have been such a substantial issue otherwise it wouldn't have continued in 3rd.

That all said, I can't wait for KT.

TLDR

The price is mooted at Indomitus pricing to save anyone watching the video.

To be fair, I did indicate where in the video to skip to  :D

The price is pretty much what I was expecting, its following the price of all launch/starter sets since Indomitus dropped.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up from the discounted retailer I use, I think it's likely to sell out quickly...:rolleyes:

I'm hoping Australia van sort out their current C-19 lock down issues as we here in NZ currently can't buy from the webstore because of it.

This may go on for weeks, I must have the precious. Precious KT box for me.

Id forgotten about it til thos article reminded me but the lesser models activating 2 at a time is cool

I think so too. I really like all the attempts at granularity amongst the factions/units/wargear.

Once again though we’re seeing “soon” as time until preorder.
