WIP.  Fingers crossed.  Back killing me.  Hard to sit in a chair for more than an hour.  “Wasted” a lot of time magnetizing the hull sponson lascannons.  Getting there though.

That's crazy progress in a short time, Xenith! Great job!

Thanks! I think tanks are my jam really, maybe the lack of detail and large flat surfaces, but I've found I can crank them out to a high standard (for me) in a weekend - especially once I started drybrushing on highlights instead of edge highlighting (thanks Voxcast!).

Looking good, keep it up! Sympathise with the back issues. I found that the hull weapons just slotted straight into the holes for me, didn't need magnets.

Beautifull work lads! You've made me order some actual tanks from GW with all your inspiring work in here! Especially that Kratos looks brutal, I just had to get myself one of those.

I've finished up my lad as well. Took some pictures yesterday, but the dust/flock on the black panels was too distracting. I noticed some small issues as well, so that's all sorted now. Just a shame that the lighting wasn't as great today as it was yesterday, so the subtle shading of the red is completely lost. Photography is a talent which I don't have.

I enjoyed this event alot! I would've taken months to paint this lad, so I take any forced motivation I can get. Thank you for hosting BCK! Good luck to the rest of our Brothers in this final stretch!

Unfortunaetly, I have put exactly zero paint on my model

No judgement, brother. I've probably completed 10% of the challenges I've entered on the site over the years.

Great job, Chaplain Raeven! I appreciate all the the thanks for hosting the challenge, but also thanks to everyone who entered.

Vow completed - table top quality, no more.

But I completed the bridge in 3 days... Youhou!!

The only parts of the kits I used in the end were:

- Land raider kit: top hatch

- Razorback kits (x2): heavy bolter turrets

- Predator kit: sponsons with lascannon and top hatch

- Leman Russ exterminator kit (ooP): white metal catachan taking a ride (Johnny Remora)

- Leman russ kit: side tracks, demolisher cannon and lasconnon hatch + handles and vents

- misc things: a drum from battlefield debris, some extra tracks

For the bridge:

- bits from sector mechanicus, inc pipes and consol

- bits from necromunda

- a ladder from extra parts of Legion basilisk

But everything is mostly plasticard, cement and putty.

this lad choosed a cosy area to rest in peace. Not too much aligned with SM values...

I didn't paint it, just a picture I found on the internet to illustrate the decal situation

Day 15 of October, almost 9:00 a.m. CEST - Happy birthday BCK, and thank you for launching the Challenge, that has been, well, challenging!

Several attempts and one battery change later I finally have some pictures.

One Valkyrie and one Vendetta for Aeronautica Imperialis. Kroxigor Sclaes over Leadbelcher.  First had a more gold/brass for the metal bits but it did not stound out as much so went over it with screaming bell. A few bits of silver and then some gemstone paints for the window (blue, did not work as intended) and red for the weapons/lights (looks ok from close up, but gets a bit lost once screaming bell was used).

Also happy Birthday BCK.

If someone wonders what happened with the rest of the razorback kits I used, the first one is a wrecked Argent Shroud Rhino (See it in my battlefield gallery). As long as the second one is concerned I painted it parallely to the Big boy I submitted for this challenge and here it is, just finished:

As it was already fully assembled and primed when the challenge started, it will not count as a second vow...

Happy Birthday, BCK.  Some truly excellent work by you guys.

Unfortunately, I am not able to finish mine and won't be in the finish in the time alloted.  Unlike Xenith, I wasn't smart enough to switch from edge highlighting to dry brushing.

Anyway, here are some pictures of it in its current state.

Thanks guys - that's because I just shared photos of the finished bits.

I probably have about another week of painting - Basically, I need to finish the details on the inside of the left gun, all of the right gun, the corpses on the left shoulder, both sides of the chasis and all of the back.  Oh, and everything to do with the base, and the tusks aren't quite finished.
