Forgefiend

This thread is only for tactics for Forgefiend, not for pictures, there are other places for that.

How to best use the Forgefiend?

• Legion?
• Which stratagems are worth throwing out?
• Any solid unit combos?

Had my second game with my IW Forgefiend last weekend and it did quite well in shooting Craftworld Eldar down in droves. With the daemonsmith WLT my Warpsmith was handing out a 2+ ballistic skill most game and the ap of -2 on the Hades autocannon is often enough against Eldar armour, compared to games against Marines. Against those, I would not advise the Forgefiend as a very worthwhile addition. But armies with lower saves do have to respect the fiend a bit, it appears to me.
