Hello!

 

I’m new here and a returning player to 40k. I’m starting a new space wolves army, and thought I’d make a thread to document the process. I’ve chosen the Stormwolves Great Company and my first model conversion is a Primaris in Gravis Armour interpretation of the Wolf Lord Bjorn Stormwolf.

Added a unit of Aggressors - little bit of extra wolfiness for the Sergeant.

I took some better photos as I’m planning to write a blog post about assembling and painting these. You can tell I’m not a professional photographer. Also included is my Wolf Priest, a Primaris Chaplain on Bike conversion that I’m pretty happy with and a couple of my Assault Intercessors.

I was indecisive about what to do with the bike and the two very codexy skull and halo icons. I’m pretty pleased with the eventual outcome, though. The sculpting is amateur but I think good enough to look OK when it’s painted.

I got a cheap-ass little light box and wrangled this guy so he stayed in place while unglued just long enough to get a decent photo.

Nearing the end of the holidays and a return to work so updates may be less frequent. I’m also still awaiting a shipment of paints and will have to get in touch with GW on Tuesday to see what on earth is taking them so long.

Took me a while to finish these guys - not my favourite models to paint but I’m happy enough with the result. These guys are gonna ride with my bike priest and possibly an ATV.

Working on a terminator librarian conversion. Might replace the axe head, still considering my options. 
 

 

Replaced the iron halo and the charm on his wrist. Added a wolf tail to the butt of the axe, and obviously the beard and the wolf fur cape.
