A nice collection of old bikers! Cool models; the chest plates and helmets are very interesting. Very tasteful.

So I’ve been working on the next 1k points; just adjusting to the new year with a new job.

 

But I’ve been working more on the marble effect and building it up prior to the addition of the filter washes.

 

 

hoping this stays present after the next stage but it’s all trial and error.

 

I also managed to get this for the collection 

 

 

unopened brand new and not at crazy stupid price hikes.

At the moment all my investment in heresy is in the collecting and painting, as I don’t know anyone else who plays, so seeing people’s epic engagements is really exciting. So I’ve been busy getting the next part of the army ready, pics coming soon… but the next phase is already being acquired 1000 points of space wolves and 1000 points of death guard.

 

I'm currently working on our narrative campaign and focusing on getting our first four boards of terrain started.

 

as a little idea of how insane I have decided to take this project whilst we wait for access to a Bamboo A1, I made the plunge and ordered the first boards terrain off of Etsy.

 

 

 

we are currently nearly at 20 potential players and we have majority of forces represented from mech and auxillia to militia and marines. It’s been great to see the activity at my local club increase and will hopefully to gain traction at an entry level.

 

player narrative campaign packs are currently in the works I just wish I had more hours in the day to finish everything that’s in the pipeline.

I have learned my lessons about continuously trying to slam my head into BS5 gun lines and why I’m never going to succeed 

 

I'm pretty happy with the outriders just as a new addition solely to try a different play style and see if Ravenwing are viable or if it’s simply just a fun way to go pew pew.

i completely feel you, for a decade I’ve rarely played games but I decided to try and get the old white dwarf battles of old happening, so people find the immersion I was personally missing from the hobby.

 

everything is sporadic in this thread and I never seem to stay on task but the reality is, between managing work family hobby campaign etc my thoughts are scattered to the wind.

 

hopefully this thread will continue to become more interesting and comprehensive as time passes, I really should do a finished thread in Hall of honour as the reality of this mumbo jumbo wip thread is all over the place.

 

i also need to not post when I wake up at 4am and compose my responses better

So things have been happening; 1000 point additional force is coming along and I’ve started on the 1000 points of space wolves slowly converting them up.

 

 

better pics later on but the real thing I’ve been working on;

 

 

 

slowly getting the Campaign Player pack made up for our event…

 

 

and the first table of terrain printed and delivered, another 3 boards to go but we are getting there slowly but surely.

The wall scenery was terrific. The Agri-World table was fine too. Sadly people apparently refuse to wage war on those green tables as you seldom see battle reports in that kind of environment anymore.
