Yeah, unless you work for the Eavy Metal team, don't do that to yourself.  I once took a close-up of a model I was really happy with with a DSLR macro set-up ... let's just say that the lenses are very revealing, and will highlight any minor mistakes, and that I've not done that again since ...

Eldar Rangers are parts of my all time favourites.

As I picked up a box a few days ago, I might eventually act as a copycat and enlist 5 too. But mine will be from the last plastic generation...

The relevant word is "Might". I still have to think about it: indeed the sprues come with a total of 9 rifles (holstered or handled), and as I plan buying a Corsair box in order to get enough bits to kitbash excess guardian bodies I own, I might get a 10th rifle to build up a full 2nd custom squad. But as nowadays all models´ sprues are cut in strange ways, I may prefer waiting a bit and getting all sprues in hands to define the best way for assembly of the genuine rangers...
