Lysimachus Posted January 31 Share Posted January 31 (edited) Ok, it looks to me like the Possession Test process is quite drawn out, potentially lasting several Rounds before anything even happens! I don't think the whole fight will go on that long, so I'm going to simplify the process a bit: Each unit on the map will make 1 Wp roll, Opposed by the Wp of an unnamed Lesser Daemon. Player Characters gain a +30 to their roll. If the Daemon wins the roll off, they will immediately Possess that unit for the remainder of this combat, with all the effects listed on pg142/143. Otherwise the Daemon is immediately denied and banished. However, if you wish, Mob 1 and/or 2 can choose to voluntarily lose this roll off and willingly welcome the warp entities in. (For these unpowered and poorly informed cultists, posession by even a lowly Lesser Daemon might be seen as a great honour and a worthwhile trade to help them against the guards/Arbites?) So, please add your Wp rolls for the PCs (and if you want the Mobs to Oppose the Possession, a roll each for them too) here in the OOC. Then we'll see what happens!
