I'll back Lysi's call in the IC here, as it's better than clogging up the thread with random gubbins:

Mechanicum Shuttle:

  • 2D10 Components (20!)

Warder Shuttle:

  • 1D5 SP Weapons (2)
    • Weapon Type (Combat Shotgun, Human)
    • Ammunition 2 D10 Shells (12)

Either shuttle will contain Fabius'/Atesh's starting equipment (you can narrative it as the old Pilot's gear or something).

Alright gentlemen, I hate double-posting but IIHII.

So, I have been in conflab with our esteemed GD Mr Lysimachus and since we are literally approaching liftoff for the new Players, we need to get things into some semblance of order at home in your fortified, genestealer-infested,  Necron tombworld  ...er, base, known as Brimstone.

I've had dialogue with a couple of Players who have matters requiring resolution, and I want the other Players woven into the game (and used to juggling timelines and all the breathing room that comes with for them) au naturel:

@A.T. Please go ahead and make any and all posts you deem necessary in the IC in order to narratively establish your workshop and attendant support apparatus (and any acquisitions) as we described/agreed in our PM discussion.

@Necronaut You are free and clear to post regarding our PM discussions as you see fit.

@Mojake Feel free to drop your first post into the IC, for some direction, please use this time to familiarise yourself with the immediate Brimstone setup (the previous posts will help there) and also your initial thoughts or plans, your Character's expectations of the task ahead, yadda yadda (I know you've thrown some into the data thread - you can weave them in here again if you wish so other Players can respond IC).

Other players (barring IFF and Fabius) please refrain from posting until Mojake does. Once he's had a shout, you are then free to make intro posts to him, and reaction posts to the demise of Druid and the departure of Iorek Redfang, and what the future holds.

If any Player wishes to deal with setting up facilities, put your ideas in the OOC (here) and we will discuss them.

This game is scheduled to re-open on 01 March 2026.

This time would be a good space in which to continue contributions to other games you are committed to, and to re-familiarise yourselves with the Campaign Rules. Remember that Black Crusade (sandbox) games live or die on your choices and willingness to undertake Compacts, and my time is  committed such that all games are treated like Great White Sharks - if the thing stops moving, it dies.

I encourage you all to study the data thread, and feel free to enter into discussions with me about what's available, what you want to do and how to go about it.  To the Players mentioned, please do your best to have your posts in by the end of next week.

You are already damned. It is only by your efforts you shall escape or embrace doom.

Prepare yourselves.

@Iron Father Ferrum did you want to add any more re the dash to freedom, or were you happy for me to move us on into the shuttle? (No problem either way, just so I know whether I'm up next or not?)

@Mazer Rackham Honored GM.

As this is the OOC Thread, are any Compacts that our Characters may or may not have entered into still extant?

Not to my knowledge, no. All quiet on the Spinward Front ATM.

However, there are a few Undertakings to consider - you guys don't like the Krokodils (gee, wonder why) and so one of the Compacts could be to secure transports, or crew or pilots etc.

The discussed component / tech use only acquisitions I assume - no actual infamy tests just yet?

Hey I didn't have any problem with the old flying death trap rust bucket. Things were going fine until it got sawed in half by floating debris and heavy weapons fire. On the whole I would rate it as reasonably functional: it got us from point A to point B and we all (the player characters, not NPCs) walked away from the landing (read: crash) no worse for wear. Can't ask for much more than that at the end of the day when in the service of the Red Corsairs.

You can if you want, no problem. Everything we discussed is on the table. Give me a shout if you're not sure.

Instructions unclear: Players desire Krokodil Sportsters. Got it.

IIRC - Kraggan may or may not have completed a Tertiary Objective.

Of course this missive May or May not Self-Destruct in five seconds in beautiful HD.

That is an interesting spelling of Thunderhawk Gunship.

An important point, and well made, but did anyone feel that tectonic shift just now, on this really fragile asteroid?

This may well be the case, on reflection. I'll look into the rewards for it.

Is there a sanctum or other psyker-type designated in the base?  Can Atesh build a shrine to the Changer?  (Or will he be allowed if Mukta and OB/GYN can get us past the missiles?)

Oh yes, there's another warp dabbler...

..but he's not that type of doctor...

There is a Nurgle Sorcerer, yes, but he's away from play atm.

Our resident warp-dabbler is a Chaos Space Marine Sorcerer called Cyrandras Rakash.

Our man in the know, @Xin Ceithan can fill you in.

A.  Okay cool but didn't I see there's a Nurglite?  I don't wanna catch tetanus, I want to change ways!

B.  I gave him a promotion!

I think its Smiler.

Its definitely not Kraggan!

Did he actually take part? Honestly, I kind of forgot about him... Looking at the character thread, I don't think Sobek's character ever actually posted in the IC either.

Still, we've got a nice team shaping up, nice mix of Astartes roles - everything but a Techmarine and Apothecary, though the mortals have got us pretty well covered on the first of those...

That said, from MG's MI /tertiary compact comment above, I'm now wondering if he is a spy of some sort? In which case, is he just pretending to be a blood-crazy tech fiend...?  The Alpha Legion says hi!

Yes, Sobek did pop a couple of posts in.

You've an NPC medic in Iscario kicking about, but he doesn't do house calls. Also - beware going in for a checkup, you'll come out with less squishy kit than you went in with....

Which is lucky for you, since now…

@Mazer Rackham already working on it, though I was thinking I might delay posting until the current activities with the new bloods had been concluded so as not to clutter or break up the narrative flow. At the current rate of progression, it looks like they'll be wrapping up sometime this weekend maybe?

Yep, tomorrow or Saturday is what I was aiming for.
