Where are the mortals who weren't at the comms room relative to the damage control rooms?

With a full movement of 2m per turn Xerxes might have more success trying to divert power from his local console than moving to the site.

Yes, if you hurtle to the control room, you can shut off valves, redirect power etc. If you stay on this level, you may be able to patch in. One more narrative movement, say.

What is it with this game that every prequel / character meet up evolving into a TPK event even before we have started an actual episode ?!

Players: Hey, can we start in a tavern, like everyone else?

Me: No.

In short, Yes!

@Mazer Rackham - GM, what happens if you are on 0AB?

Have  you seen people do “The Robot”?!

( which is of course coincidentally rather fitting , I guess ?! )

0AB means you can only really crawl along, but this is due to environmental circumstances, not injury, so you may continue to move as long as you pass a Strength (+10) Test (goes for all Players). If you Pass, your DoS will increase your AB by +1 per DoS. This reflects the fluctuations in the gravity density as Brimstone shuffles and shudders around you (it is not constant due to the gravity regulators working every now and then).

@Mazer Rackham

Ukalegon:

GM: OOC we're on the way to the workshop to get your wargear, no? Takes more than a single bus stop. You're one good run away from the warplate.

No immediate attack comes. Hissing steam and the snap-crackle of broken electrical conduits are the symphony of the cosmos for next few moments. Lights flicker on and off, fooling with your depth-perception, albeit a mortal man wouldn't even discern shapes. The genescience of your Occulube keeps you from being befuddled.

GM: Make an Awareness (+0) Test to detect the vile Xenoform.

No Heretek.

I'm confused.  @Mazer Rackham you said to make a Toughness +10 test to run, but @Lysimachus made a Strength test instead.  Which is it?

Apologies, but that can happen when you're dealing with a mixed party and I have to do catch-alls.

As above, it's Strength.

I've been unplugged for like a day, missed that in my reading.  Thanks!

No sweat, good query will help anyone else catching up.

@FabiusV4lcoran - Now what did @Lysimachus The Moderatii say about Not Dodging the Swear Filter?

Looking at the post, I'm not sure what's going on there, because that's the right BBCode for the :cuss: symbol. Not a swear dodge AFAICT...wierd.

It is :cuss: so that's right.

@Lysimachus, @Iron Father Ferrum do we know what's happening here?

It could be a Bug.

I've been Emeriti as well for a bit, so I don't know.  Sorry.

No worries, appreciate the peek.

Agreed. Might need a report in the Bug Report Forum. If it happens to anyone else, that's what we'll do (as it could just be settings).

Interesting...

When I type it out in the text box, the symbol comes up and I can select it, in the same way as tagging a member. :cuss:

However, if you finish typing it out to the final : like so :cuss:, it doesn't convert it automatically? Edit: except now it has changed it!

If you hit return at the end of the sentence, it does seem to change it though... :cuss:

Nope. I'm not clear why it didn't change it.

I tend to write my posts in word/docs, and then once I've copied to the box, I go through and use the top ribbon to add any symbols I want to include.

Edit again: I tried hitting the Edit button on Fabius' post, didn't change anything in the box, just hit save changes, and it seems to have converted it now. Just a weird one off bug I think...?

I get exactly the same. It autofills or adjusts.

Interesting. Must be settings?

EDIT: He's got it in another post as well, and I think I've got a PM from in it.

It must be settings. I mean, it doesn't matter, as it's board legal, but wow - weird.

Edited by Mazer Rackham

Okay sooo...I'm hearing I should check my settings and maybe try just hitting enter after I say :cuss:

OMG WAIT IT DID CHANGE IT TO THE COOL THING.

Just so you guys know, I pride myself on listening to feedback.  So please point things out.  I WILL remember them eventually.

Nvm

Excellent! Now everyone has their BBCode Syntax in order, we shall proceed with the  total demise  adventure  of  for the Party.

Yes.

@Mazer Rackham a small point of order: does Furious Assault not only activate on an All Out Attack? In which case, would thr genestealer not have been denied its Evasion action? It doesn't really matter either way...

I will double-check.

I had a look at the talent last night so may have been half-asleep.

EDIT: you are indeed correct, sir, I don't know what I was reading, but it obviously wasn't that. The second attack is hereby nullified.

In other news, the Ballistic Skill restrictions are still in place - I forgot to BaS/BaSK.

EDIT 2: The post has been approved! Huzzah! Thank you whoever did that, always appreciate it.
