Do you think they perform well? How do you equip them? Do you attach them to any specific unit? Is there a detachment that they are extra crucial? Any Enhancements that you like to use with them? MadEdric Posted October 11 Share Posted October 11 I have a soft spot for my Warpsmith Daedalus. He is the Warlord of my army and is in pretty much any list. He is usually in the back field supporting my shooty fiends and helbrutes. The +1 to hit is great as is the ability to repair his engines when they take their MWs from pacting. He uses the axe, because that is what he came with, being the old resin kit. In Soul Forged, he'll have the Tempting Addemdum, which is just a great enhancement. Other detachments, he usually has none. I've tried attaching him to a CSM unit, but found he's usually best off by himself with his engines. That way he can maximize the number around him to get a better choice of who to buff. Soul Forged is obviously the best detachment for him, and is my favorite detachment. In it he can really shine as support for the deamon engines. Other detachments are OK, but he's a star in the Soul Forged. Brother Nathan Posted October 11 Share Posted October 11 im awaiting to use it in my codex army but in the index he was invaluable to me. i plonked it to follow my predator and vindicator, healing slightly and giving that boost whilst the hellbrute doubled their pacts made a nice little bubble. the most efficient use of points, certainly not but a fun one if using much armour anyway. has been a few games where a damaged tank would have been bracketed to a 4+ to hit but he changed that to a 2+ which with either volume or quality make a significant differance...
