And the carnifexes

I kept the arms separated until all the striping was done, so a big help there. All the others had been fully assembled when I bought them so it wasn't really an option.

Big slug of Tau are next in the queue. They're just primed right now but they're about as fast to paint as these guys, so I'd expect to be done with some by middle of next week.

Since I am right now trying to paint a Swarmlord with the arms on, I know the pain. This would probably have been a good idea for me, also.... (however, I bought most models already assembled off Ebay, so have to live with it).

What a pain to paint around these arms....

Anyways, great work. These look great.

I wish I could paint so consistently.

Good work on big pal.
Is it your collection or it's commissions?

The CSM and CK stuff is for me, everything else I ebay. Tend not to do too many commissions outside of Black Templars since I don't trust my ability to color match haha

Sweet, sweet lord. Good luck

I know I said Tau, and they're getting worked on, but mostly are just having their gloss cure after a bit of blacks applied so I can mask and go full stupid on the Farsight reds.

Did a little bit of work on Lord Disco and some of the Knight weapons.

Almost felt weird painting my CSM scheme, I don't think I've really done any since maybe March or April. All the armor plates are done on him and the Helstalker, and they're now varnished so I can do metallics and cloak next.

Nothing out of the norm with the knight weapons compared to ones I've done in the past apart from trying a bone barb look on the Abominant's scourge. Think it came out pretty well. All of these (chainsword, claw, desecrator cannon, volkite cannon, scourge) in this batch are varnished and will get washes/weathering done while I'm in between longer steps on the Tau.
