Hello model makers!
Any of us collect a lot of models over the years - especially the first ones, unpresentable and unfinished. They are stored in boxes and crates, sometimes forgotten, sometimes causing nostalgia to take them out, be horrified and put them back.

I have been into Warhammer for 17 years, during this time I have  many various models, and each of them keeps its own history. But the time has come to give them a second life: remove the old paint, get rid of dust, fix the shortcomings and prepare them for new battles! They are waiting for reforging......

In this project, I will demonstrate how the models looked before and after restoration, and show the process itself. I hope this will inspire you to update your old works, and not leave them in oblivion!

1) The first tank to open the list is the "Predator".

Same here.

Had a few models on display in an open cupboard. Make up brushes are ideal to convert dusty marines and vehicles into almost new units. Just dont drop them

Love to see your journey. I'm toying with the same. Recently moved house and was for the first time in years confronted with the actual glory of my pile of grey shame (dusty and unpainted). I actually have tac squads from 3d ed still in sealed boxes ..

Wow ... that is quite a dust layer there! It'll be interesting to see how this project goes.

Thank you! Yes, I am intrigued myself where this road of adventure will lead me.)

Thank you very much!
Well noted. It's time to give the guys some attention and love. Who else will do it for them?:)))

Continuing our theme! After keeping the tank in an improvised jacuzzi made of Tiret (cleaning liquid for pipes) in a plastic container for a day, I put the second tank in to marinate it, and clean the first one.

I got this result. Fresh, new, like after assembly! Got carried away with my work and didn't shot the process of cleaning the Predator, my fault!

After waiting all night, I started on the Emperor's Children's Rhino and the washed Techmarine (how can such tank a company be without a Techmarine? The Machine Spirits won't approve it!).

I,m erase the obscene chaos inscriptions and water them with holy Terran water.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work the first time, so I put it on a second soak. The Tiret can be used multiple times and wash at least a dozen models before disposing of it, so it's very practical!

I'll keep you updated on the progress of the work. I'll put a hatch, a heavy bolter and add a tank crew on the Predator, I also plan to add a bulldozer blade and a couple of additional things that I'll show in the process, for the intrigue!)
