The grip, position of the magazine catch and scale on the bolter is inconsistent with the one featured on the Legion Rapier sprue. How come the era where the weapons were sculpted by hand had better consistency with weapon patterns than present day where they have all these designs stored on a computer? This is our version of historical wargamers making sure their tanks have the right number of rivets of the time period or their infantry have the right shaped buttons. As much as the goblin in me wants more sprues for the horde I'll have to pass on the big box as I have enough Contemptors and a Sicaran and more than enough MK2 and 3 marines in the pile of potential. But I absolutely love the Mk4 glow up! I might be able to justify an assault squad to make some spear wielding maniacs for the 13th though.... How many lances can vet assault marines have? Iirc there's two lances per cc weapon set? Are they 1 per 5 on the vets? Phraseology is quite misleading as it implies you can take them all with power lances.
