A crusade (which needs a name) is attacking the planet Odion. What else do we need to know? 1. Who's in charge? (I can write that if you want to use your dread character, No-one) 2. Who are the Orks on the planet? (Does the Waagh have a name, Who is the Warboss? Is it a major force to be reckoned with, or just starting off?) 3. Why are the Orks on this particular planet? 4. Why is this planet so valuable to the Imperium that a crusade force has been sent to liberate/capture it? Is it even the planet itself that's valuable, or some thing on it instead? Librarian- Melechor Posted June 29, 2005 Share Posted June 29, 2005 I think it would be interesting to have some kind of twist for Odion, nothing like a c'tan under it or anything <_< , but maybe it is a mechanicus experimentation world, or some other Important place. Ferrata Posted June 29, 2005 Share Posted June 29, 2005 I suggest you do the battle vs a Chaos uprising, as this allows Chaos/Renegade DIYers to join in. The imperium side can be one of those armies where a number of chapters send a squad to, thus you dont have to have a really large battle to get everyone in. If you do the chaos idea, maybe have them just attacking a weak planet near the eye of terror, and a Space Marine "honour guard" have been sent, like the ultramarine one. If you rush into this, it might be hot for small amount of time but it will slowly fall apart. I never thought they could.
