And you say the blastmaster's face isn't finished yet!? It's amazing enough already, it's so expressive...

He still needs that prominent Space marine brow, and I would feel like a lazy bum if I didnt pop in some eyelids.. its ok to leave zombies or the dumb little faces im sculpting on their armor without eyelids but it would bug me forever to leave him without them.. plus I want to add in a few more little details..

I still feel his head needs more work.. I plan to break up the far too clean line between his flesh and Bionics.. I want it to look more like his face was pealed off his old skull, then stretched and pinned onto this one.. otherwise with just a bit of clean-up I think I can call him done..

trying to get some life out of his face before I can really move on, But im just not getting the detail I want.. Half tempted to blame it all on my brushes, throw a Tantrum, and buy myself all new ones..

But...

Ill just save that as plan-B and trod forward with what I have on hand..

You are making me want to work on some Noise Marines now! Though I don't think I could come even close to what you did here sadly.

Out of curiosity, did you make all the cables with the funky tool (tentacle making tool I think), even those on the torsoes? Or do you use another technique?

I used a few different things.. Yes one was the [saw-020] Tentacle maker from Greenstuff industries. http://greenstuffindustries.blogspot.com/

Also I used  2 racks of pin nails to achieve a similar effect on a few as well..

ok.. I Ordered New brushes, and I have moved passed throwing a paint filled tantrum for the moment.. I think I've reworked his head back into something I can  live with..

Thanks guys!

I Was lectured by a friend of mine today on the need, to work on my rather poor photography skills.. ermm.gif

At the very least I guess that means my work looks better in RL... but his point was taken to heart.

..I really dont feel like painting today..

I think im going to start working on my next unit((A block of plague Marines)) while I wait for my new set of brushes to show..
