The new sword bro models are gorgeous, but I'd probably never run the unit. But I still want to bring them. So they are replacing the generic sword bro from the Primaris crusader squad box and the sargents for my assault int squads. I won't make the same mistake of not painting the sword bro this time around like I did with the old metal models because they weren't good as a unit.

I failed my vow, but I managed to paint up a 10 man Primaris crusader squad, Redemptor dreadnought! Still don't have my box of bladeguard XD

Well brothers, I guess this is why they tell you not to count your chickens before they hatch. My LGS can't get me an apothecary for 3 weeks and the bladeguard for another 2. I don't think I'll have time to finish those models before the deadline. But here are my EC and Marshal! I'll probably be committed to other projects as I picked up another box of crusaders, sword bros, outriders and the primaris chaplain on bike. Who knows maybe I'll have time. We shall see.

But Here is my EC and Marshal. I will edit my post with pictures of the Apothecary and Bladeguard asap. Edit: I just thought about it, if the bases are painted does that disqualify me from entering these 2? I batch painted them with my crusaders. I pin the models on aftwards.

My EC has killed a handful of Harlequin hq's and Khârn.

Would the -1 to hit characteristic of a power fist and or thunderhammer affect the rules of Grimaldus' aura "unmatched zeal" to where a 6+ wouldn't be possible to trigger the bonus attack? on that same note, if you ever had a bonus +1 to hit would you now be rolling unmatched zeal hits on a 5 or a 6 since it's worded as 6+?

The fire looks good, I might add a bit of black to the very tips. This would be super easy if you just use the airbrush so you don't get this weird black highlight look. Just be careful ;D.

3 fully magnetized predators 3 fully magnetized razorbacks 2 land speeder typhoons 2 storm talons 1 fire raptor 1 lrc 2 Las cannon bros 2 heavy bolter bros Assault cannons seem really good on razorbacks right now. Their high burst will help with having -1 to hit from moving. perfect for units that want to move up to mid field support.

oh, well that's great then. For whatever reason I thought he was 103 points and it was reroll all wounds. my bad haha.

from what I could see all that changed with the EC was he went down 28 points and the black sword went from reroll all failed to wounds to reroll failed wounds against character/monsters. It's not a huge nerf, but it's good that it came with a point reduction too.

Also, where are we seeing the relics right now?
