CtA26 - Closing familly portrait
Hi folks,
CtA26 is now almost over (2 days left). But for me, I am at the end of this season's paintjob.
It has not been the most prolific year in sheer numbers. I hope I compensate with a small quality increase.
Anyway, many excuses can be brought such as series of heat waves that limited the total available time for correct painting, or lack of holidays. But truly it is a general slow down from my side because of remaining backlog shrinking fast...
Anyway, here is the whole 26 contribution of mine to CtA, all in the Imperial Stronghold and for the glory of AdMech.
Interestingly enough, only models coming really from the backlog/pile of shame were the Chickens, Pteraxii, Serberys and the 2 containers. Eevrtything else has been purchased between June and early August. So that fear of the shrinking Pile of Shame starts looking like as a pityful excuse...
Should awards be distributed to this small horde of machinized warriors, clearly the "most painful to paint and build" award would go to...
Pteraxii required the highest amount of time spent... and the less retributing job in terms of personnal satisfaction
The second Award, would go the the kit making me me starting a new Army...
Big robots. I am hooked now, I can't deny it anymore
And the Award of the kit I cut and slacked with some apprehension goes to...

The Container. Interestingly enough I did not feel the smae with my failled attempt of magnetizing the Castellan nor whane I did it (this time succesfully) on the Questoris. Key difference? Motivation maybe: I just did not knew where I wanted to go with the Container.
FInally the Special Award goes to...

Where it is all about a kit that I should have bought in 3 boxes instead of 2. New DS for SM and CSM will make these lads a must have probably.
That's all for this year lads.
Now, I go back to my other challenges, such as the BIngo Card (1 entry missing) and the 12MoH (Plodding along)
See you.
