This week in the hobby I: -Got the vehicle dice set that came with 6th ed. It's very, very pretty. -Initiated a clear out that dug up €912(so far, there's at least one more Russ and Guard squad somewhere) in models, and some NIB Rogue Trader Rough Riders too, to trade in to the LGS for stuff for Apocalypse. -Realised my ETL vow is screwed for reasons that will be clear shortly -Started my Ultramarines project. Which will end only when I have the whole damn chapter. So far, it's Sicarius. By himself -Started a massive Chaos project featuring at least five different warbands, a traitor PDF army, and Daemons -And started armies for 2nd. Edition Eldar, Catachans, Marines and Chaos. I think this will take a while..........

When I finally take the plunge into 30k as opposed to 40k I'm gonna go with four legions. First off is the Sons of Horus, I just love Loken and Abbaddon too much, and if I get a solid core of basic units, I can quite easily have a force that can be either loyalist or traitor as I need. Second is gonna be NL, because of every 40k faction, they're far and away my favourites. Then for the Loayalist half it'll be Ultras and Imperial fists, they're the only loyal legions I actually like in 30k

Nice tutorials, if I had the spare parts, I'd give it a go myself

How did you make the metal head the lord originally had? Is it 2 helmets stuck together or just a filed-down faceplate?

Use sculpting tools to save yourself the work lol(I think I found part of the reason why I cant sculpt lol.

I'd feel the same, only I have some spare from my DA. And Doghouse, how far out do the torsos go? And for those who are sculpting deficient would modded Assault marine torso back work?
