Hello all I can’t believe it’s been so long. Well I’ve moved house (and it still needs a lot of work) and got a promotion so I’ve been super busy. So much cool stuff has come out for the Dark Angels whilst I’ve been away primes bikes and land speeders and blade guard. I have never been a quick painter and I’m even busier now so it will be even slower. I am out of touch with the rules so I’m don’t know what’s good but primaris Raven Wing look awesome so I’m starting with a ATV. let’s see how long this takes. I look forward to catching up and seeing new work for inspiration.

The above picture is from 7th (possibly 6th) Ed codex However on page 15 of the 8th Ed codex it is red on a green background so Master Sheol was correct. I had not noticed that before. I’ll stand down now. PS I think I will keep mine white for consistency. PPS I don’t know why the image flipped sideways when I uploaded it. PPPS Happy Christmas.

Although the tactical, assault and devastator markings are red on a green background. The company veteran is a white sword on a green background.

As far as I am aware the books are all being printed in China and shipped. There were problems with availability if the SM codex. It sold out quickly around the world in pre-order and took weeks to restock. There were stories of FLGS only receiving a handful of copies. I would be suppressed if COVID hadn't slowed production and they may have decided a push back is better that another limited availability release. As DG has been pushed I would be surprised if DA wasnt also as the same issues apply.

I might be able to finish the bases too now the shops are open to get some Armageddon dust.
