    Hi Brothers! I haven’t played since shortly after the pandemic, and my models have all been in storage since. My love for 40k is still there but my love for the game has dwindled. I’m currently working on inventorying all my models and sell off most of them, but I wanted to keep at least a max point size army. Looking for recommendations on models that would allow me to have FUN games and not necessarily be competitive. Want to stick to iconic BA models where I can, but I’m not against mostly Primaris. I’d take army list recommendations or just some ideas and I’ll go from there. I’ve missed this community so I want to at least have an army to go play when it fancies me. Thanks!

    I love this model, it shows his angelic side. While I know the Blood Angels fought with strength and prowess I don’t think the fury kicked in until after he died.( obviously please point out if I’m wrong). Love the pose, love the hair.

    Time to save the money in my PayPal(offshore account the wife doesn’t see) for these 4 models. I already have a Levi Dread but this one will make me want to run it. Also that contemptor. Time for an all Dread army!

    Thanks for the pics, so he’s bigger than my Primaris conversion. But so bad a looking. And I just finished painting my Primaris one. Ugh. I still need this in my life though.

    Just a quick update, hate to feel like i am highjacking your thread but just wanted to show how much just a base coat added to the model. Again thanks for the idea. I may start a painting thread of my own now that I am painting semi regularly again. Definitly no where near as talented as you, That primaris squad is probably some of the best I've seen, and i know a guy 25 years in the hobby. Awesome Job.

    Wanted to show my take on your Mehpy idea. Full credit goes to you for the idea. Thank you so much, I would never have thought to do this before. Will post updates as my greenstuff skills is shoddy at best and paint may fix alot of that.

    God how did I miss this thread when I was looking for a Mephy. That is fantastic, and I don't even need Green Stuff Skills. About the only thing i might try to find a way to do is his big pimp dracula hood. Fantastic work, and paint style in general. I have always loved a darker scheme for the Blood Angels. Keep up the fantastic work, and I'll keep my paint envy in check

    Scratch that, has anyone seen a size comparison on the Scribor Archangel Model? I am actually kinda digging that model. It looks Primarch size, but without a direct comparison its hard to tell if its hugely oversized even though it comes with a 40mm base

    Looking for a Alt Sanguinor Model, I've seen the ones on the first page but I'm looking for one I've seen used by a BA player on The Glacial Geek youtube channel. It has the hood and wings that arch straight up. I'm having a hell of a time locating it. Any help would be awesome as my Sanguinor model just broke and he has gotten more and more puny as i add Primaris models to my army.

    I have mine model with it anyways, looks cooler. I just etched off the Deathwatch icons and used the arms that go with it. Pretty excited to use him.

    Is it worth having at all now DC without jump packs? I have 30 with backpacks but I’m thinking I now need to just put the jump packs on them.

    relooking over the requirements for a Brigade Detachment and it looks like everything we want anyways. Did Baal Preds get any cheaper?

    Sweet, no need to buy the sprue then. Just going to use the chainsword from BoP that attaches to the belt. I’ve got a million shoulder pads already.

    Does anyone know if the Intercessors Chainsword in the upgrade sprue is larger than our normal ones?

    They have to deploy within 3" of the rhino and not within 1" of any of your models. Entirely doable. I had a game last night where after killing a rhino he was only able to deploy 2 models because anything else was within 1" of one of my models. This is how it works, If you completely surround the rhino with 32mil bases which is 1.26" they mathematically cannot deploy within 3" but further than 1" from enemy model. However it's still unreliable to count on.

    Intercessor sergeants can take a chainsword or can replace the bolt rifle with a chainsword. You get to chose which. it says you use it before advancing. Advancing increases your move by the dice roll. This says you increase your m9ve and dont roll. Awesome! so a 453 point Troop investment +HQs gets us 9 command points and plenty of other slots to fill. Possibly even add a Vanguard detachment.
