Hail Fraters. Some crazed person on this forum re-ignited my long-slumbering love for BFG, and now I've found some models I like, I wanted to do a crazy list, that I thought screamed (and would make lots of screams amongst enemy crews...) either FT (or Executioners)... Master of Fleet, 1 x re-roll = 75 Ven BB, Styx, SM/Torps upgrade = 295 SC, Shield +15 = 160 x 5 = 800 Novas x 3 = 150 Hunters x 4 = 160 Total: 1480. Launch Bays: 14 Torps Tubes: 14 Concept: Boarding Torps and Thunderhawks. Novas run with the SC's, Hunters roll with the BB, which can put the Hawks on CAP to cover, maybe an SC to beef up the Styx. Thoughts anyone?

The doorway slid silently open as they exited, the darkness of the commanders council chamber pierced by the bright lights of the outside hallway. "Tyranids." More xenos filth to destroy. A never ending wave of the feral, mindless hordes that seemed to push ever closer into the borders of the Imperium. Uncaring of what species inhabited a planet, they were ruthless and efficient at their task. Single-minded of purpose. Six thousand years and they were still the same implacable foe. But, they were predictable. Mindless monsters that rushed headlong after their next meal. Slowly rising towards his command console, a green orb lit up as he pressed his pale, sinewy hand onto it. Glowing to life, the command console displayed a holographic projection of nearby space. with rapid movements the movements of the recorded Tyranic infestations appeared. Red lights flooding across his star-map. The updated charts showed a clear path of predation leading towards the valuable forge world of Ferrax IX. The data instantly shared among his fleet data-system. Three small blue dots among the horde of red displayed. Three predation fleets assigned to a single task. These xenos have brought the wrath of humanity upon themselves. And fresh recruits awaiting afterward. Already the young of Skaldjaeger were discovering the truth of life among the stars. So I signed up for the CoC MKIV a few days ago and as the rules rightfully demand I'm opening my WIP-thread here. My plan until the end of the Call ist to finish the following models for my Iron Warriors army, which are waiting for paint on my desk (maybe some more if I finish these really quick): 1. 1 Defiler with a Reaper Autocannon and a Havoc Launcher 2. 5 Chosen with 4 pairs of Lightning Claws and a Plasmagun 3. 5 Chosen with 2 Plasmaguns, 1 Powerfist, 1 Lightning Claw and Combiflamer and 1 Powerfist and Plasmapistol Of course, these aren't really optimised unit configurations, but they are the miniatures that stood on my desk and I organised them into legal entries for the Call. I hope that's ok as far as the rules go Below you can see the pictures of the actual models. I'm going to start with the Chosen (some still have some old colours visible, so there is some need for another session of base-coating) and am planning to paint the Defiler whenever I might want to do something different than Poweramour

Thought to share these here. Vanguard Miniatures are primarily oriented at producing 6mm models, but also have some space ship stuff. Their Tusculum Nova range makes up for fine Imperial Guard and Marine proxies whilst those who want proxies for their Titans and mechanicum would probably go for their Cybershadows.
