Models and units I have, and their current status (all models are Firstborn models, and all need to be primed and painted, but some need to be stripped first): - Apothecary/Sanguinary Priest; fully assembled (High Priest Armand) - Astorath, counts-as (old metal Asmodai model); fully assembled (Castellan Philippe) - Captain w/ JP&TH/SS; fully assembled (not WYSIWYG) (Champion Ishtah, 1st Flight) - Chaplain (on foot); fully assembled (Chaplain Astehn) - Chaplain in Terminator Armor: needs storm shield (Venerable Chaplain Kanata) - Chaplain w/ Jump Pack; fully assembled (Chaplain Astorius) - Librarian/Librarian in Phobos Armor/Mephiston, counts-as (old metal Tigurius model); needs pistol arm (Chief Librarian Azkael) - Commander Dante (old metal model); needs jump pack (Chapter Master Lucian) - Lemartes (old metal model): needs jump pack (Angelo, Living Martyr) - 5-man Death Company squad w/ Jump Packs; fully assembled - 5-man Death Company squad w/ Jump Packs; needs jump packs - 10-man Death Company squad on foot (assault-y, not bolter boys); fully assembled - 5-man Terminator Assault Squad w/ TH/SS, counts-as (Grey Knights Terminator models; they're modeled with the ranged weapon options, so I may also run them as a shooty Terminator Squad occasionally as well): needs all arms (Vanguard Squad Lamonte, 1st Flight) - 6-man or 2x 3-man Sanguinary Guard; needs jump packs (Baelin, Damascus, Eshmel, Karleo, Mikael, Thalastaen) - 5-man Infiltrator/Scout squad; fully assembled (Squad Argastian, 3rd Flight) - 10-man Sternguard Veterans squad; fully assembled (Squad Lorenzo, 1st Flight) - 10-man or 2x 5-man Vanguard Veterans squad; needs jump packs (Squad Gasparo, 1st Flight) - Death Company Dreadnought; fully assembled and primed (Draugr) - Stormraven; mostly assembled (Charon, Death Company Stormraven) My current goal is simply to get most everything, maybe minus jump packs, assembled within a week from today. My wife and I were finally able to get our son into his new school, so I'm going to have a bit more daily free time soon. However, living in Montana, it's starting to get too cold in our basement (my hobby area) to prime anything, so I'll have to bring my spray primer upstairs to warm up for a couple hours if I want to do any of that. I also have several Mcfarlane figures, mostly AP's, that I plan to paint up in my chapter's colors, plus a Necron Warrior AP to have some fun with, maybe make a diorama of sorts with it and one of the Marines. I'll get pics added to my gallery soon so I can drop them in here. WIP Pictures

KitBash Time! EngineSeer at work
Bouargh posted a blog entry in Bouargh´s miniatures´ closet clean-up
After grabbing "accidentally" a GSC patrol box, on purpose to use the body to kitbash some IG regiment, I am potentially left with some bits inc. mining tools. I then remembered this pic, unless I decided that GSC bodies would do better base for IG than Orlock gangers BECAUSE of this pic: I am already the happy owner of enough Engineseers to fill all the slots in my AdMech army. And I have been left with one extra (remaining from a Patrol box), in desperate need for a purpose in its life of plastic toy soldier. Kitbashing it to get an oversized clamp and a mining laser looked ike a fun idea. And here is the result: The beauty of AdMech kits is the amount of left bitz you have once the models are built. For this one, I used a Skitarii arm, chopping away the rifle as right arm. Left arm is the spare arm from my mago, removing the serpenta. and servo arm has been relocated whille adding a small Kataphron mechanical limb to handle the laser will on rest after harvesting a quintal of noctilith... extra bits from grav canon of Kataphrons make the handles. As you can eventually appreciate, from this too dark pics bellow , it gets an oversized hydraulic clamp from GSC Metamorphs. A little bit otT maybe... To be painted in June, with the rest of my AdMechs, once starting the CtA challenge! To be continued...- 2 comments
